Really fun family game, four players on the same screen and a free Switch 2 graphics upgrade

I'm 45 and have been playing Mario games literally since I can remember. They were great then and are still great now. Bottom line: if you like Mario games, you'll love this one.

This game is so good. We bought it as a gift for our 5 year-old and he loves it. Watching him play brings me such good memories.

3D world is a blast, especially with friends. That said, Bowsers fury steals the show! I hope it is a glimpse at the future of Mario games!

Since we picked up our pre-order my son hasn’t stopped playing this game. Sort of a classic game which makes you feel like you are in the game. If you like Mario adventures you will love this game.

if you never played this on the wii-u, then it's worth picking up on the switch. 3d world is a solid game and fun overall. it's not the most difficult game but it's not gonna hold your hand either.

Some of the best co-op fun my friend and I have ever had, and it's way longer than we expected! Even once we thoroughly bested the story, there were STILL a bunch of worlds to come, and a final set of levels that tested us deliciously. I honestly can't imagine playing it solo, but it would probably be fun too, just less of a unique experience. There's a boatload of content here that invites you to play it as casually or as thoroughly as you like. And Bowser's Fury is fun too, but it's a weird attention here because it's decidedly single-player. Technically one friend can join in, but it's more as a SMG-style "helper" that's not very fun to be.

Love this game. my kids love playing it as well! Some levels are really tough to beat but others are fun to beat.

Such a fun and immersive game. Loved it and definitely had me struggling on lots of levels, which just intensified the struggle to finish it.

An absolute joy, I played the original version for hours at my friend's house but never had a Wii U of my own so I'm very happy to finally be able to play it on my own console. Strongly recommend!

The game is entertaining and long if you do collect all stars. Bowser's Fury is the cherry on top. Love this!

The core SM3D World was a great game that few got to play. I would have hoped for some better upgrades for the multiplayer aspect (all have to be on the same camera frame) but is an otherwise game that deserves a first or second play through. The expansion is also a fun unique Mario experience where the entire experience is on one larger map. Handheld may be a little chuggy but the new puzzles and scenarios help distract it away.

Bought as gift for 10yr old and everyone at the party had fun playing it! Just like Mario from my generation but even better!! Graphics are superb! I would def recommend for gamers of any age.
