My kids like Mario cartoons and the super Mario show, but not this one for some reason.

I know this movie received bad feedback from the critics, but it's actually a great film. It's not bright and colorful like other children movies. It's dark, adventurous, with a fantastical element. I loved this movie when I first saw it in the theaters at age 7, and I still think it's a great movie. It doesn't resemble the video game franchise at all, but I don't think people would want to see grown men in bright suits, simply stomping on Goombas in order to save the Princess. That would be silly and boring. Imagine an actor playing Mario touching a mushroom in order to get bigger. Would you really take that seriously? What if he ran around with a racoon tail? As a child, I loved that it was dark and Yoshi was a little sticky and creepy. But he was still cute, and needed more camera time. Instead of making it cartoonish and childish, they attempted to make it as realistic as they possibly could. I mean, a real Yoshi is not going to be smooth and bright green. There's going to be some scales. The movie is unique, you have to give it that. So, if you want something that's original and different, then definitely see this movie. Is it a little cheesy? At times yes, but of course I would think that. I'm an adult!

i love The Super Mario Bros dvd i just bought the dvd today best buy pric 6.99$ not bad actually good price for a good movie if you loved the video game than you'll love the movie it brings you back to the 90's i was 8 years old when The Mario Bros movie came out i remember the video game but i rather the movie 1993 wow such a cool 90's movie! yay for Super Mario Bros!

of all movies I would choose this one because it would be a favoret for years. only thing is theres probably more people that like it then don't.

it's outstanding an almost perfect mario movie exept they should make another with bowser in it then will it be perfect.

I love the comedy and all the action in the movie. I grew up with the Mario games so to see a live action movie of it is awesome! So funny!!

If you loved this when it first came out on VHS, you will STILL love it today! It is definitely a classic movie from the 1990's, and worth the money to order it offline!

This is a great movie and if you love the video game then these is a must have.

This movie, based off the famous Nintendo videogame, would rank as one of the worst I've ever seen, but kids under the age of 8 might enjoy it.
