Must own on Nintendo switch but it can get difficult

Game plays for hours. Unless fun and crazy levels.

Basically endless Mario levels. What's not to like?

Great game. You can play levels, or create levels. You need Nintendo Online to upload or download other levels. Teaches you the basics of platform games as you go along.

This game is even better than I initially thought it would be! The online (as terrible as the multiplayer can be at times) makes this game! Go for the 12 month game bundle that has Nintendo Switch Online for only $70! You save $10 on that yearly membership and you get a great game too. You Best Buy it!

Never played the original, but the adventure mode on this has really well made out levels similar to the original Nintendo systems and recent ones all in 2D Sidescrolling fun. If you have access to online, there are endless levels made by normal people. If you are into making levels, you can do that.

The singleplayer content is great for offline for when you don't have a network connection, though you can save some online maps to use offline. The creation tools are fantastic for people who feel inspired to create a mario level, or even something a bit more complicated. Highly recommend it

If you enjoyed the original on WII-U or if you are big into platformers you have to pick up this game. It comes with some premade courses to play through but the biggest selling point this game has is CUSTOM MAPS. People make some really crazy maps and it's really fun going through them.

I know there isn't much story to this game but with the infinite amount of levels this game has, it is the best 2d Mario game ever. Fans will create all kinds of levels from every 2d Mario game engine. You'll never get bored playing. If that wasn't enough, you can create your own levels

This is a great successor to the smash hit Super Mario Maker on the WII U. While it was definitely designed to use the Switch to its full, it was definitely helped on the Wii U due to the game pad. The story is fun, but the real fun is challenging yourself with the many player-made levels.

It's fun to play this game and see the thousands of courses available. It's even funner to try it with a friend as there is 4 player mode on one course. Sadly i wish more courses were designed with multiplayer in mind. The singleplayer is pretty good too.

The game is ok, but you have to be able to play online to get any levels. So if you don't have the online membership it's really not worth it.

The amount of customization and ability to show off your creativity makes this game a winner. The added characters and power ups are fantastic. Purchase the bundle and get The Switch online membership for $10! It’s Nintendo...It’s Mario. You can’t go wrong!

This game is near perfection. If you love Mario, this will please. The only negative I would say is that the online multiplayer at times is unplayable due to lag. Hopefully Nintendo will fix this and match you with people closest to you or something.

I've had the Mario games over the years going back to the first ones. This reminds me of why I love this franchise. Just like how Zelda Breath of the Wild was a perfect game for a franchise that began so simply. I love these games!

My son lobes this game. Has spent may hours playing. Loves the new level of possibilities. He has waited a long time for Mario maker 2 glad best buy had it in stock. Bought it on line and it was ready for pick up the morning of release.
