I purchased this game as a gift and he loves it. Love the fact that you can create your own levels.

My son played some Mario Maker on the 3DS. He is very happy with the improved sequel on the Switch.

My 6 year old love creating his own level. I will definitely recommend it. Better than Mario Deluxe.

Picked up for kids. Easier on the eyes and ears than some of the other stuff out there. Family fun.

SMM2 is a blast to play. The story mode is challenging and fun. The Maker portion is easy to learn.

The game seems fun on paper. Creating Mario Games and playing an infinite amount of Mario levels. It's almost like YouTube. Anyone can make a video and anyone can watch the videos but the quality of them aren't as good. There are very few good levels and most of the levels are easy run to flag levels, 1-1 copies, insanely difficult kaizo levels for pros. As a result, I'm often refrained to play solo and usually play multiplayer. The problem is many people have bad connections so it's very laggy but it's very fun with friends that have good connection.

A fun game overall. So much to do from the story mode to building and playing courses!
