It's a pretty fun game. You can't really go wrong with Mario.

I bought the first one but barely played it cuz I just wasn't into it. after getting a switch forever ago I finally decided to buy this game to play. I'm glad I did I can constantly keep picking up my switch to play due to the endless amount of creative level by people. the story mode is fun also. there is also even multiplayer if anyone is interested in that.

Creative ways to make stages for everyone and lots of fun to play

My son likes it a lot Super mario maker 2. This game helped him how to build.

Great games. Keeps you entertained for hours at a time. Only negative about this game is to fully enjoy all the features you have to pay for Nintendo switch online monthly.

My son is now teaching me the wonders of Mario... like I didn’t grow up on it... it’s A fun game And he’s so creative on the level construction. I highly recommend this game!

This game is pretty fun especially with new features that add more to the already huge amount of tools that the previous game had. They also have a story mode so you can see all the types of things you can create. My nephew loves this game and as do I. Great for all ages but just a heads up a Nintendo Online Subscription is required to play online levels as well as upload.

Great fun for a long time. We have a blast making crazy stages and challenging each other to beat them. You can play any published stages from around the world too and the story is fun and occasionally challenging. Great game

I had the original Mario Maker on my 3DSXL and loved it. Mario Maker 2 adds more functionality and brings in another generation of consoles to create stages for. I can get lost in the game as there are so many creative players out there making their own stages. I even showed my 40 year old older brother and he bought himself a copy!

2D side scrollers isn’t for everyone, and honestly, I’m not way too crazy about them. But this game has a fun story mode so that you’re not just left to rely on building levels yourself for entertainment. Of course, you could always download levels, and while multiplayer could be better, I’ve had a lot of fun with friends taking turns on challenging levels.

I love this came BUT you need online to play the full experience

If you're a mario fan this has it all. You can make and play levels on your own, download ones others have made or just play the story mode! Lots of cool stuff from origional mario, mario 2, mario 3, super mario world, and world 3d. All sorts of cool stuff and a few new items/power ups. Some may say that this is the best mario game ever!

I never played Mario Maker for the WiiU, but I heard a lot of good things about it. My kids have the 3DS version and were excited for this game to be released. I’ve watched them both play it and they’ve been a blast with this. My son likes to make new courses and play the ones online. My daughter has been working her way through the story mode. It looks like a lot of fun!

I had the original Mario Maker on the Wii U and really enjoyed it but I'm not much of a level designer. What i love is user created levels and being able to play this on the switch with all the extra filters to find levels is amazing. In fact I'm still enjoying the story mode right now. There is so much new things to see and do this is a must own title for switch owners.
