I grew up playing Super Mario Bros. games, and to now be able to make my own levels, share them, and play those that others have made is awesome. Then there's a complete story mode as well!
My only complaint? There's a limit on how many of your own levels you can have uploaded at once.

If you have ever thought - I could make a world better than that - this is the game for you. You can make all kinds of different Mario levels from all over different Mario games through the generations. If that isn't your style then you can download other players levels and enjoy those

I am a huge fan of Nintendo and Mario in general! Super Mario Maker 2 is a very nice entry and title for the Nintendo Switch. There are two primary modes: Play and Build (those are not the exact names but you get the point). The Play mode is straight forward and has been a blast to play thus far! I am only a few levels in, but I can already tell that this game is going to be one of my favorite Switch titles right up there with Super Mario Odyssey and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. I will always prefer Zelda Breath of the Wild over any Switch game (until the sequel comes out perhaps ;) ), but BOTW is a high bar. I had never played Super Mario Maker before playing Super Mario Maker 2 for the first time. So the build mode where you design your own levels has been a little challenging to learn. It is much more intuitive and quick to grasp when playing in hand held mode. I have not quite figured out how to play the build mode on my TV yet. Overall, this is a very fun game!!!

Definitely a must have for Switch. The story mode alone is great, but even after many hours of finishing that, there's hundreds of user created courses to try (with more always being added). Plus, it's multiplayer (local and online) which makes it one of the best games on the system.

If you've ever thought to yourself, "I've always wanted to create Mario levels," then this game will satisfy that craving—and then some. You can create your own levels and play your friends' levels, and on the game's story mode, you want to play levels from the developers themselves.

I haven't played the first Mario Maker on the Wii. I really enjoy this version though. It's fun to make your own stages and play ones that other people have made. There are some very creative boards that people make and have given me ideas on designs. Really fun.

this game is absolutely a must have for any Mario fan, especially if you've ever wanted to create your own Mario worlds from every Mario game era from 2d to 3d! Even has some Legend of Zelda stuff in it! Create your own or just download the creations of others and play!

My son loved the 3Ds XL version of this game and had been watching YouTube videos for months in anticipation of the switch version. This version is amazing. The graphics are beautiful and it’s very engaging. My son could spend hours making levels and playing other people’s levels.

Back in the 80’s I dreamed of having a toolkit like this to make my very own Mario levels! Also included is an extensive story mode, and access to other players’ level creations. Endless Mario levels- and even if you somehow manage to play them all, you can still make more!

If you played the first game you will love this one. All the things you love from the first game are here plus a ton more. If you love playing Mario platformers you will love this or if you love to build and create you will love this game as well. I highly recommend this title.

I had this game since June and I still play this game every weekend with my stepson. We have a blast designing levels together and playing them. The online feature has greatly improve since launch. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who loves Super Mario games.

I bought this for my 8 year old’s bday and so far he is really enjoying it. The first day he stopped playing it after a while because he got frustrated with it because he was having some problems with it. But he has gone back to it and really likes it.

I love playing Courseworld. I've only made one level but if I had the time, I'd make a whole lot more just for my family to play. The main story mode is just as fun if you want a relatively easy classic Mario game. Glad I finally got this

Nintendo has added all the missing features from the original game, and as it stands, this is the definitive game for custom Mario maps and playing. A LOT of the online levels are unfortunately very low quality, but the good levels make it worth playing.

I was hesitant to buy for so long because I figured it would be boring building and sharing levels created. I took a leap and got it anyways and found it to be great! There's a story mode, which provides lots of entertainment for single player mode.

In my own personal opinion, 100% better than Mario Maker 1 for the WiiU. The game is only a week old, the levels are all incredible, and we've only just begun. Story Mode helps you get a feel for the gameplay, and I'm loving the endless mode over the original 100 man from MM1.
