The thing about this game is that you can create levels and playing multiplayer.

I have a lot to say about this game in good way. Amazing must own, unlimited fun.

The original Wii U game was great, and this is just an improved version of that that can be taken on the go.

Not only can you make levels, but you can also play other people’s levels. It’s like a limitless Mario game.

Everything you like about Mario Maker is back with more in this game. Playing it is a slightly better experience as there is a greater variety of level types possible and a large library of levels included with the game that are of high quality. Regrettably, the making side of it is not quite there. The developers seem to have committed to designing around controller driven creation rather that Wii remote style pointing at the screen or stylus use. In particular, the game uses a wheel system of menus to bring items or level objects to the editing bar even when creating with a stylus, which seems counterintuitive. While level creation is still fun, it is hard to shake the feeling that it could have been better. Overall, this is still a worthwhile package that offers a significant amount of entertainment.

Great game, takes you back with a twist...love that you can play maps created by other people

This is a great sequel that entertains as much as the original. My only complaint is the lack of amiibo support. Being able to unlock 8-bit versions of all the characters through them was awesome. The story mode is a great addition though

Purchased for my son and it was fun for everyone. The switch game is awesome and very entertaining.

Fun game, improved on the first by having a story mode. If you’re connected to the Internet it’s a 5/5, but going remote away from that it’s limited to the story mode along with any levels you have downloaded.

This game is so much fun! Building levels is really easy, and there are countless levels online to try out!

Endless fun. Can create your own levels, or try your own! Not to mention nintendo's own levels are amazing.

Tons of ingenious fun for the whole family to be creative

Great game if you're a fan of Mario. The story mode has way more levels than I anticipated and they're a good way of introducing you to the new mechanics added in SMM 2. The multiplayer mode does need some work when it comes to connectivity (lag) and it's a shame you can't just play with your friends online yet, although they said they'd add it later. With so many people making levels, it'll keep you coming back over and over again to see what's new.
