Great game. It has a story mode. I have not built any stages but hours of fun.

Super Mario Maker 2 blends all of the fun of playing Mario games and creating your own levels into one game. I highly recommend grabbing a capactive touch screen stylus for creating levels. If you don't want to make levels, there are over 100 Nintendo-made levels in the story mode. Course World requires Nintendo's online service, which is a separate yearly subscription and costs $20/year.

I like to play the levels more than build, and I'm glad you are able to do both!

This is such a great game for family night of fun and was a great price.
