My daughter loves this game. And it reminds me of my youth, playing Super Mario Brothers.

I'm having fun with the game, but it definitely doesn't capture the same fun that the first game had. Creating levels isn't easy or as much fun as the first one because of the controller. I know that the Switch has a touch screen, but if you want to live stream or record yourself making levels then you are stuck using a controller. Other than creating levels, it's a good game. Some people are very creative, and now that you can play with friends in couch co-op there is a new level of fun to be had. But just like with the original, the library of other levels is often filled with insane levels or levels that were poorly designed and aren't fun leaving me wanting to just play another Mario game. All in all, I'm giving the game 4/5 stars because there is fun to be had even though I feel like there are some problems. I'm only one person, so maybe I'm wrong.

Excellent game. Reminds me of the older SNES game. Lots of fun for the kids.

Cool game for the kids but I should’ve read into it a little more. Kids can’t really enjoy it with out the joysticks. They damaged both and now only allowed to play the switch on wired controllers lol. They are still able to play but only one player can build

My son loves the game. He was excited about it as soon as he found out that there will be a new Super Mario Maker 2

Great level creator with easy to use functions. Though it is best you buy a stylus before starting to create levels.

My kid creates a course and i try to beat it. Then i icreate a course and we both try to beat it. Great family fun

Better than the first. Lots of fun for all ages. Kids and adults can both find ways to be entertained while playing.

So much free content (and creative too) from designers around the world. The offline levels are fun also.

Great game for anyone with a creative mind. Even my youngest sits there making levels for hours.

Game has tons of content online for both experienced and novice gamers alike. Story mode has a bunch of levels built in if playing online isn’t your thing. Plus you can make your own levels and share them with friends. Highly recommend!

I brought my brother this intresting game because he always wanted to play a Super Mario Maker game, since he didnt have a 3DS or Wii U he wasn’t able to get one of those versions so I got him the next best. He absolutely adores this game and plays it non stop, I’m glad I got him this game.

This is such an awesome game. I create and my daughter (5) plays it. Then she creates and I play.

I like how you would make your levels your own. Great game and I would recommend to someone who is a fan of Mario.

As a kid I always liked designing tracks in Excite Bike and this seems to be much of the same but obviously better!
