Really fun game that is better than the original on Wii U. Hours upon hours and creative building

This is very amazing, Nice to play it and don’t want to stop playing.

The level creation can be fun, but it's a ton of fun to make stuff other people have made, the creativity it's crazy.

Creating your very own levels, playing other players levels, playing multiplayer...what’s not to like...5 stars for me

I got this game for my sons (8 and 6) and they absolutely love it. They have so many level ideas that they’ve been drawing and being able to put them into a game and play it has been magical. There’s this creativity spark in their eyes and a sense of pride. I highly recommend it!

You never can go wrong with any Mario game! Bringing out the creator in you, the possibilities are endless! So much fun!

One of my favorites. Will definitely recommend. My son and I have a blast and he has made many courses to put online.

MM1 was phenomenal but it pails in comparison to MM2. Any Mario fan or fan of building your own levels should get this!

Very fun with many options of game play, great to be creative

This was a fun sequel to the first game on the Wii U which is perfect for the switch. I believe the wii u version is my favorite to control with the stylus and touch screen and on TV display at the same time. But this version does have many more options. I believe you can purchase a stylus to go with this game, but you won't be able to use the screen and the TV at the same time. Still I think this game is a great buy and extremely fun with many new features.

The Super Mario Maker 2 community is so strong there's already over 3 million courses to play. The only thing you need is the Nintendo Online service to take full advantage of what the game offers. That's the only real reason I'm giving it 4 stars. The full potential of the game is locked behind a 20 dollar wall. Like building levels? You have 30-32 levels you can make and upload for everyone to play. You can create them in handheld mode or TV mode with a controller. You also small tutorials to help you understand how to make levels and use the items. Find a level you really enjoy? Download it and save it for later! Do you just like playing levels? Do the endless course. They split the levels into difficulty which is a huge plus. The only thing is that sometimes a difficult level will randomly appear in the Easy mode or an easy in the Hard difficulty.

Hi Guys, I was on vacation visiting my grand kids and we went to Best Buy, because I was interested in getting a pair of noise cancellation headphones for the trip back home. While there, my grandson decided he wanted a copy of this game and I playing the grandparent role picked it up for him. I don't play video games, but if you are a grand parent looking for a great gift for your grand kid, you can't go wrong with this one. He loved it and couldn't stop enjoying himself.

Great game. Even if you're not interested in making your own levels there are many to downlead.

When first starting the game making levels is very easy for new players and you can learn all the mechanics by first going through the many levels in Story Mode. All of this is very fun and without even the online feature this could feel like a remix of different Mario games along with making levels to share to your friends or family. But with online this game suddenly has endless content with other makers able to post their own levels along with you to share yours too.

This game is amazing! Every way you can think to make levels this game offers just that! Definitely worth the buy!

Whether you’re a classic Mario fan or want to try game design this game has something for everyone. There’s a story mode that shows ideas on how to use all of the mechanics available but there’s also Course World that features virtually endless levels that were created by other players of the game. This mode gives this title near endless replayability as there’s always new levels to share and discover. Anyone who enjoyed any 2D Mario game should check this one out.

I like how this game added a story mode and more modes in general, makes it more replayable than the first game
