While the actually creator tools were improved, the game doesn't do much beyond that. Sharing levels is really tedious, and the lack of the amazing amiibo support for costumes from the Wii U game is a big letdown. Overall fairly barebones.

More areas, elements, options, sounds, customizations, etc. The addition of a tutorial mode makes for easy inspiration for people who need an idea.

If you are hesitant about getting it, don’t be. Go get it! This game in itself is worth getting a Switch for.

Many styles of mario games are included, like from the NES and SNES versions. The mechanics are awesome, like switches. There are some puzzle elements involved.
