You can make your own levels and play a story mode but the kids get board with it pretty quick unless you have the subscription. (Per my 13 year old son)

Mario Maker 2

He kept thinking it could be downloaded in the iPad. Turns out, it was on the switch. Game is a little hard to navigate (probably much easier for switch gurus). But overall, it is a fun game.
