It's good, but not as good as 1, stinks that the US didn't get the stylus like Japan and Europe. Glad they are finally putting an update out.

This is a great game but there's not a lot of new content if you already own the first in the series. Worth picking up if you've never played.

I would totally have given this five stars, but some of the things you have to do to unlock set pieces are just ridiculously hard and not very fun.

An alright game, isn't the most fun unless you have online play, a short and simple main story.

Expensive. Functions are very limited. Unless you buy the membership, it is not going to be very fun.

Not better than the Wii U original

I put an un-holy amount of hours into the Wii U original. So of course, when I first heard the announcement of this version, I was excited... at first. First of all, the Wii U game pad was more accessible for building stages. It seems to be more of a chore using the switch touch screen, of course you can get used to this if you have a rubber stylus. 2nd, the 100 Mario challenge was removed. Getting through this in the original would reward you with a costume to use in the mario bros 1 levels you build. Of course Nintendo decided to get rid of the Amiibo costumes in the switch version. To me, this was the best part of the original game. You didnt need amiibo to unlock these outfits, because you had the 100 Mario challenge. You could have made creative themed levels depending on what character costume you decided to use. Fanboys will defend Nintendo in taking out the costume feature, saying that "oh, they took it out for the multiplayer". If this is true, there are ways around it- keep the costume themed ones single player only, or do a pallet swap. It's not rocket science. Anyway. I barely played the switch version. I'm hoping there is an update that brings back the amiibo costumes, but I'm not holding my breath.

It’s a cute game. I think it’s a little more complicated than my 10 year old thought it would be. It’s fun though
