It's basically the same as the Mario Maker on Wii U but lacks the ability to upload levels online or search for specific levels online which is a huge downside. Still fun, otherwise.

The new Nintendo made levels are great and the new unlock system is thoughtful but the lacking of sharing options ultimately hurt this game. A good buy if you don't have it on the Wii U but otherwise just play there.

You can not use this game on two different systems. I was going to help my son with building on my system but it said the previous system’s file would be deleted.

The down side as was you can't share you created levels other than with streetpass. Was hoping it was a portable version of the Wii U version but fell short for me.

It's a good game, but nothing as good as the wiiu version. It's missing enough to make me return it.

Go for the Wii U version (or possibly the inevitable Switch version). The 3DS version has exclusive levels, but is otherwise limited in terms of sharing.

The Wii u version of this game was awesome. 3ds version on other hand didn't like how the controls felt. Mad couldn't share stages between platforms though.

The process of making levels is nice and easy. Be aware if you put the game in another 3DS/2DS it will loose any saved data, very disappointing.

A lot of missed opportunity in this game. If you were looking for a portable version of the Wii U version, keep looking

After much hype, I got this game to make my own levels. It's confusing and odd. Probably not for everyone.

The pre-made stages are fun. They should just make a real Mario game.
