It looked very interesting because you can create your own level. The only problem I have is the lack of items you can place when you start the game. The fun part is playing other people's levels.

Great game 100 plus levels love the creativity that people can come up with all kinds of items to use and environments. would recommend to anyone as a gift or for yourself

I was intrigued by the idea of this game on the Wii U, if only just to play some of the crazy levels people come up with. Seriously, check them out on YouTube. I never got around to buying a Wii, and now the Switch is out with a few of the games I was interested in... So why not wait? I picked this game up on MAR 10 day on sale, it's been fun so far. I've heard it's missing some of the elements of it's older brother on the Wii U, but that was to be expected. Don't dismiss the 3DS version!

I got this for my son (I'm also a gamer), and he likes it. The game is a little challenging (at least for him) as it punishes you for failing repeatedly. So, it's a little difficult for a child of seven, but entertaining and fun just the same.

We’ve been Mario fans for ever, but it just went to a whole new level when you can create your own courses and play also. You will become a maker yourself.

My nephew wanted Super Mario Maker for his DS 3 for Christmas and after looking in various stores I found it at Best Buy. It was priced fairly. Cross that off my list!!!

I'm kinda lazy when it comes to gaming. Would rather have the levels built for me, but I think the fun is trying to think up ways to make levels more difficult than anything you've tried before in any Mario game!!!

This is my son's favorite game on both the 3DS and the WiiU. The 3DS version is equally as fun for him, which is the main concern I had when purchasing this.

I purchased this game for my son. He absolutely loves it. He is able to create levels and play them. My older two boys enjoy it also, when their brother lets them.

My granddaughter is 3000 miles away. So, sometimes we go shopping on the computer while on the phone to spend time together. This was a Christmas gift for her brother.

It was great game for my little one because you can creat the stages by yourself. My little one loved that idea and he is still playing with this game since December.

Everything you loved about the Console one but now on the go. That's the best thing you could ask for if you don't have a Wii U or you just prefer a travel version :)

Just like the wiiU version - lots of fun to be had here creating and playing levels and you can send them to the wiiU for people to play there! Definitely recommend

Good game, but complicated for younger kids (probably ok for 7+).

This is a really great game. My son loves games where he can build things and can spend hours building levels trying to make them where I can't beat them. So fun

I bought this as a present from my nephew and he hasn't been able to stop playing it. Endless fun since you can play countless levels created from different players.

My daughter is 8 yo and she loves building the worlds and having my bf play them......he also loves building then and have her play them, lol. Great game overall!

Loved the Wii U version of this game and while they had to make concessions on this version it is still a blast to create and play Mario Levels!

I made this purchase for my nephew, the minute he opened it, he was playing it. I like how it allows him to be creative and tactical, all while having fun.

My family has a great time building courses to challenge each other. My 4-year old has even had fun trying to build his own courses. Great strategy game.
