Super Mario Maker for the Wii U set a standard for what this game was all about, creating and sharing levels. While all of the creating tools and setups are here 1 for 1, the sharing and playing of levels created by yourself and others is entirely borked. There is no longer any form of a search feature for playing levels by others, not only that, but you also cannot share your created levels online, absolute madness. One upside from this port of the game is that it comes with 100 premade levels, most of which are full featured in comparison to the 60 Wii U premade levels which were short.

For Mario Make on the DS this is acceptable but it does lack many of the great things about Mario Maker on the Wii U. Not being able to find other levels is a huge let down. Again, acceptable that is all.

Fun overall, but I still prefer the general progression of a 'standard' Mario title. This was more like a collection of random levels, so it doesn't quite feel like a unified game.

Here you can encounter a very light level to a very difficult but very satisfactory one! Your options here seem to never end.

This was a gift for my son. As he explains the game, "Dad, this game is awesome!!, I can building things and you can play them!"

I bought this game for my son but I’m so happy with easy maneuvering that I’m the one using it all the times.

I gave this game to my nephew and he loved it, at least that is what he told me. He also tells me he loves broccoli and school.

My 9yr old says “really cool game” So that’s all you need to know if interested in purchasing. He enjoys it.

Salespeople were very helpful and answered all of my questions and there was no long line to pay for the product I bought.

kids do not have the understanding to really enjoy this type of game yet. They did not grow with Mario bro's like we did.

For my kids birthday party we took her to Big Al’s and bought her this game, she can’t stop talking about either!

There are things in the Wiiu version not included in this but it is great for me as I just wanted to play in the editor and the random level selection is fine with me.

Overall, it's not as good as the Wii U version. But it's worth playing for the solo challenges alone.

I really liked this version of Mario Maker, even though it doesn't have all the services that the Wii U version has.

Bought this for my son and he is overly happy and so am I, as he was watching videos about it on YouTube over and over.

Still a fun game for creating on the go. My only gripe is the lack of Amiibo functionality. That would have easily made this a must buy.

So this game has a great concept and I think the console version is better. It’s just a little small for my taste on the DS

I bought this game for my six year daughter for Christmas!!! She absolutely loves it. She likes creating new levels.

With the online functions you could play this game forever and never get tired of it and find new things every time
