...but don't let that deter you from what is a must-buy for the 3DS. That said, it's only fair that a star is detracted because of the game's limited sharing abilities (after all, isn't that why we create levels in the first place), which are in stark contrast to the Wii U version.

Create and play, your game your way. Still won’t guarantee a win always but love the fact. They get to create their own game boards, some 2D and 3 D included

The price was fantastic as it was $20 cheaper than everywhere else. My son was excited to receive and play this game. I have only heard positive things from him about this game.

I bought this as a gift for a 10 year old girl and she absolutely LOVES IT!!!!!!! One of the classic and greatest Nintendo games!!!!! It is a winner for happiness and fun and a great gift idea!!!!!!

Mario has been one of the games that never dies. The grandkids love to play it and it brings back memories of my own when my kids were little and played Mario. I dabbled some myself. Fun for all.

Although I don’t play this game, I did get this for my 12 year old son. He absolutely loves it and even set aside his Pokemon Sun/moon games to play Super Mario Maker religiously for the past week!

We've had this game for a month now. We pass it around and challenge each other to beat the stages that we created. It seems that the fun is endless as there are many ways to keep the game fresh.

I bought this game for my nephew and he loves this game. He loves building things in mine craft so when he saw this game he went crazy for it. He's been creating all kinds of wacky stages.

I didn't even think about it being 3D. It would've been a cool addition...since it's you know...on the 3DS. But the game is still fun. Having to unlock stuff kinda stinks but doesn't take too much time. Think I like the WiiU version better, but this is great for on the go!

I bought this game for my cousin who is 7 and he is big into minecraft and also loves mario. He really enjoys being able to create his own levels and has me try to best them.

Games is great and very similar to the Wii U version. the online service is good and there is no lag or glitch in game. The only reason it is 4 stars is due to the online capability they limit on the handheld version never the less Good game for the creative mind.

Son wanted this for so long. Finally broke down and got it. He is 9 and his creativity is amazing. He can build levels I could never imagine. Proud dad! Love this this game.

The more Mario Makers the better - and this one's mobile! If you're the creative type, this is one of the best games out there

One of the best games because while the materials are somewhat limited, the level design is never gets old because you have to use your imagination to build your levels.

This is an awesome Mario game with endless possibilities. It's a remake of the Wii U version. It's not as big as the Wii U version but pretty close. This is a must for any mario fan!

Not as great as the console version as there are, obviously limitations of the hardware. Good fun though, creating stages in the Mario universe.

Its pretty good but suffers from bot being able to go online and play other peoples levels. Only local play is allowed buy pretty much the same game as the console version

My nieces love to play this game on the Wii U when they visit, so after getting them 2ds' last year the got this title for xmas. They love it just as much as the wii u version.

Purchased this game for my 11 year old son for christmas. I actually enjoy playing it as well. You can make levels that are a throwbsck to the original Nintendo i grew up with

One for me one for my son. His is a Christmas gift but mine I play now and let him play it as well he likes making hard boards for me that I can't beat. Kids will be kids lol
