This game is awesome. The whole building a Mario level is something everyone dreamed of as a kid.

At first I didn't think I was going to get this game. But then I saw commercials and thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did buy it because it's awesome. If you are a fan of Mario games, this is a MUST have. I'm not creative at all but the fact that you can play ANYONES creations online sold it for me. You literally have endless Mario.

My kids and I are having a blast playing this. We have had a great time making boards and playing the boards others have made. There is a lot more to this game that it seems. I thought it would be a simple experience, but they really opened things up for experimentation. Surprisingly my 3 year old has been doing very well. He can finish the easiest boards others have created, and he has endless laughed making his own boards.

Fun Mario game you can play other people's levels or design your own. What more could you want

This is a wonderful game. The game allows you to easily create your own Mario levels. The level creator is easy to use and allows you to create and submit your own levels for others to download. In order to upload a game you must first beat the level yourself. You can also download levels that other players have created. You can literally play this game for years to come as players will continue to create new levels.

If you love Mario this game is for you! For me this game brings me back to when I was a kid and played Mario on regular Nintendo. I would always think, this level would have been better if they had ..... Well now I can recreate the levels and add those elements or let my own creativity flow and create a whole new level with a bunch of different features. When I get a creative block I go and play other peoples boards.

Unbelievable fun. Easy to use controls. Constantly updated levels means game remains fresh.

The ability to make my own Mario games was always a dream of mine ever since I played Super Mario Bros. on my NES. fast forward 20 years later and I am able to do not only that but share with the world what I have created. The amiibo feature keeps it feeling fresh. Being able to play as Mega Man fighting Bowser is something I never though I would be able to do but behold, I did just that. A perfect game for anybody.

When I first picked this up I wasn't sure what to expect, but soon became immersed in the experience of creating levels and playing levels that others had uploaded. Overall, it has great creator tools to make levels as difficult as you want. The only drawback is I wish they had given you a way to make your own world maps like the way the game was layered in Super Mario Bros 3. But despite that, the game is great!

He likes that you can play levels created by others and that he can create his own levels.

Game lets you do a huge amount of things, and there's an infinite amount of levels to play.

What is there really to say super Mario maker is the latest masterpiece from the best video game maker of all time Shigeru Miyamoto. Your family will instantly fall in love with this game. My daughter can't put it down and she isn't really into anything gaming related. If you have ever experienced a Mario game you will love this!

My kids and I love this game. It is not even fair to call it a game though, since it is more like a software suite. Build levels, share them online with friends, and enjoy the levels people around the world are building. This puts Mario in the hands of the community, and the results have been fantastic to experience. Amiibo owners can enjoy special costumes and sound effects by tapping their figures in as well.

This is not a full blown new Mario game in the regular sense. It's also not the full-blow 3D Mario game to follow-up Mario Galaxy 2 or even M64. That out of the way, it is a cool experience. It's fun and easy to make your own Mario levels and share them with the world. It's also a lot of fun to see what other players have created and play those stages. I do with it had come with a true level-based story mode as well instead of just the levels Nintendo did make, but oh well. If you have a Wii U, go ahead and give it a try and accept the fact that at this point in the systems life, this is probably as close as it will get to a new traditional Mario game.

Nintendo really went all out for this one. Not only is it creative, but addictively fun!

I, like many people have been playing mario games for my whole life. Being able to create your own levels and play your friends and others levels didn't disappoint. It takes a very short amount of time to get used to the process of building a level and the game introduces you slowly which helps. I found it best to sketch out a level on paper before going in and throwing stuff all over the screen though.

Creativity in progress. And playing everyone's levels around the world? Just Awesome!
