This game is great for kids to create with, design their own obstacles and solve them. Also, you can play other Nintendo and user designed levels if you don't want to make your own.

My two boys love this game and can easily play it for hours. There are so many different ways to create and many different themes to choose from. The only downside was having to wait to unlock everything. I wish there was an easier way to get all the items sooner out of the box. It's a little tedious and boring only having a limited amount to do for days while you wait for the rest to be unlocked.

If you grew up with Mario in the 80's are just love the Mario Franchise this is the game for you. With the ability to play levels created by individuals around the world replay value is endless. Amiibo compatibility is a plus but if you don't have any no need to worry since you can unlock all the costumes in in the Mario 100 hundred challenge. Causal and Hardcore gamers can appreciate Mario Maker.

Super Mario Maker is a fun game that brings back many old memories. Although there is still some left to be desired such as checkpoints you can't go wrong if you are a Mario fan.

I really enjoyed playing Super Mario Maker. My fiance' and I have been playing other people's creations more than making our own. The sheer thought of being able to create your own board to play and share with others is what sold me. So many options! I just wish you could build cross-platform (like original mario playing on mario wii). Other than that, this game is tons of fun for all ages.

Super Mario Maker is a great 2D game creation tool that is able to make anything from classic Mario levels, to don't move levels, to puzzle levels, to trap levels. In my time playing the game I found my myself constantly coming up with ideas. If you don't like making levels there are plenty of pre-installed levels and enough great (and bad) user created levels online to last you forever.

My 8 year old son excitedly purchased this game right when it came out. It didn't seem worth it to me initially but after spending countless of hours creating different levels and download other player's creations I can see how much fun it can be. It has the classic mario side-scrolling feel to it but being able to design your own level and share it with others truly makes it fun for all.

Super Mario Maker was a great idea from Nintendo. You can build your own levels from SMB, SMB3, SMW, or NSMB. Each has the graphics, mechanics and physics from the original game. You can also go online and play others levels through Course World. There are tons of very creative levels to play. It is basically an infinite amount of levels from those 4 games. A dream for any 2d mario fan.

I would recommend this game to anyone would loves to be creative and platforms.

I have purchased this as a gift to be given to my son for Christmas. After research, I loved that this is a game that allows a child to use their own creativity.....and it's a Mario game. I fully support games that allow a child's creativity to blossom. A child feels great and builds self-esteem when they see what they create. For me as a parent, that is truly the ultimate reward!

This game is huge wonderful and full of content. A lot of people seemed confused with it at first. There is no storyline no competition just you creating levels and uploading them for other people to play. Its a one of a kind experience that really can't be duplicated in any other game. I love creating new levels and having my friends and family as well as strangers online play em!

This is one of the best Mario games. I grew up loving Super Mario 2 and 3 and I really enjoy building in and playing this game. Playing others can be fun but there are some that people build where the trick is to not move at all those get boring to play but I imagine building them is fun. And it's the perfect game to play only on the Wii Pad in case there is a TV sharing problem.

I love this game. Making levels is great. Try to recreate some old levels or make levels from the gameboy mario and make them like you never played before. But in my opinion playing other people levels and being the first one to beat the level in the entire world and holding the world record in levels is amazing. It's a must have for creative minds and any old school gamer

Super Mario has always been a fantastic series, but being able to make your own levels and download other people's levels is amazing. The controls are super easy and a full featured level can be built in anywhere from 10-20 minutes. The controls are super intuitive and my 4 year old was able to master it in about an hour. He gets a kick out of seeing if I can beat his levels.

If you grew up on Nintendo like this 36 year old, this game will bring back memories and will allow you to makes games reminiscent of your childhood. If you're buying it for you kids, like me as well, they will love the ability to make their own levels and then challenge family members to play it. This is the kind of game that Nintendo excels at making. Worth every penny.

Kids can create their own Mario World... for Mario Fans this is awesome.

Great game to make all kinds of mario levels. If you don't want to make levels, there are tons of levels from others to play for days. You can spend many hours gathering the costumes, which don't require Amiibo at all. The only negative is that the online system for the 100 mario challenge can be rough with impossible levels, but that is player created content for you.

One of the best Wii U games by far. Lot of content and endless fun!!!!

The game takes a while to get items open for use but it still is fun making levels. The levels others have made can be fun and sometimes off the wall challenging.
