This game is simply awesome. Building your own levels is as easy as dragging your favorite obstacle and dropping in the exact space you want it. You can also see what your creation looks like in all the super Mario game iterations there have been from the original SNES version to the latest WiiU version. Very entertaining!

Simply the best idea Nintendo has ever had! Super Mario Maker is a masterpiece that can be played and created for years to come! If you still don't own a Wii U and consider yourself a gamer, now is the time to switch over to pure gaming bliss! I can't give a higher recommendation - a must own! Well done Nintendo! 10/10

Finally, I can make my own mario levels! But half the fun of this title is playing levels made by friends and other across the whole worldwide community. Not to mention, getting feedback from friends on the levels you create. The update coming November 4th will only strengthen a title already loaded with great features!

Any true Mario fan would love this game. Play more to unlock more items to use in your imagined levels. Beat other's creative levels.

When I was a child I would "design" Mario levels in a notebook. It's great to see technology's at a point where kids of today can do this and then actually play them. Love the game and was really fun to create levels and also play other's creations

If you like classic 2D Mario games, you'll probably enjoy this game. Even if you don't like making levels yourself, there is a never ending supply of user made levels to play. But making levels is the best part of this game. It's fun to come up with creative level designs and doing so is much easier than you'd think.

From building your own levels to exploring other levels created by other players, there is no let up on how much can be done. I highly recommend this game to everyone, especially creative types. (I believe this game would be an excellent choice as a project of some sort for an art class or other school activity.)

Mario maker has brought a breath of fresh air to the Super Mario series! Unlimited amout of options to create your own worlds. Online feature is nice as well, which allows players to play worlds that have been created by other players all over the world. Hours of game play... unlimited amount of fun for all ages!

I like this game because you can play for a few minutes at a time or spend an hour really get in depth with the intensity and difficulty of the level you create. I wish there was more of a "game" behind it.. For instance giving you points for how good a level you make would be nice. But we like this game a lot.

This is one of many reason to own a Wii U, and probably the best. If you like Mario games, this is a great way to get into them. You don't even have to be a creator, there are tons of levels to be played everyday. It just makes me wonder where they go from here, since this let's you play unlimited Mario levels.

Endless levels to play as you can play everything other people have created and uploaded. And of course you can easily make your own levels too. A lot of neat, unexpected features you can add into levels including becoming other characters, sound effects, light shows, the list goes on and on! A must own!

I purchased Super Mario Maker knowing that creation-based games (Little Big Planet, Minecraft, etc.) are not my cup of tea. I usually find the concept tedious. However, I was pleasantly surprised with how much fun creating levels with Mario Maker could be! If you have played Mario Paint back in the Super Nintendo days, you will find this game to be a spiritual successor in numerous ways. And when you tire of building your own levels, there are millions of levels online to play as well!

If you are a fan of the super mario bros. 2d series, Do yourself a favor and get this game. Its not that complicated to make levels and playing through other people's creations is some good fun. You will occasionally run into some really hard or troll levels but ultimately its fun for the whole family.

With this game you are put in the developers seat and you get the opportunity to test your building skills and playing skills with so many levels that others have created and ones you can make. This is a favorite for my family and with amino we get a lot of suits for Mario and makes this game amazing

This Mario game is the perfect way to celebrate 30 years of excellence. You won't be overwhelmed with the creating tools and the fun factor is infinite. Do yourself a favor and play this game. Add another gem to the WIiU exclusive list.

I've been playing Mario since I was 8 so when I heard I could make my own level and that it would be super easy and fun my mind was blown away. This game needs to be played by anyone who has ever touched a Nintendo device it's well worth your money so buy it and start creating your own masterpieces

This game is so much fun!! If your an old school NES Mario player you would have loved this technology when you were young. I appreciate the game so much more now as an adult and my 5 year old loves playing it just like I did when the first NES was released and I played it for the first time!!

This game combines the "build anything" mentality of Minecraft with the Super Mario universe and generations of games. Way more fun than I anticipated, and my 10yo son hasn't stopped since receiving this game on his birthday. Recommended for anyone who enjoys building more than destroying.,

I grew up with video games and always thought it would be a fun job to design video games. Now I get to fulfill that dream and design Mario levels. It is so much fun. Some of the levels you can download from others are amazing and it will just get better as more people submit great levels.
