Before E3 of 2015, I was really skeptical about this game. Making Mario levels just didn't sound very fun to me. That all changed when I saw the Nintendo World Championships. The game suddenly looked amazing to me after seeing what was possible with the editor, and I knew I had to get it day one. I'm so glad I did. I've been playing Metal Gear Solid V pretty much non-stop ever since it's release, this is the one game that's been able to pull me away from it. Not only is playing other people's crazy and imaginative levels extremely fun, but I'd go as far as saying that making levels is more fun than playing them! I can't really explain why, but the editor just does it right in this game. Unlike in LittleBigPlanet, where the level editor was extremely complicated and near impossible to understand, in this game it's comprehensive from the start.

This is one of my favorite games because it allows my son to learn to be creative. He builds and also plays while he is building all the time and has a blast. I love how you can play any world that someone else has built as well. Well designed.

The game is amazing. Just playing other peoples made levels are amazing but creating your own is just as fun or even more. Play recreated levels from other games like Megaman and Metroid and more. Must have game for any nintendo fan new and old!!!

This game is honestly your childhood dreams brought to life! If you've always wanted to make your own Mario game or had your own ideas for Mario, this game is your ticket! There is so much to do besides creating. This is an endless Mario title!

First thing you should know is that many of the levels that have been created so far are garbage. But there are so many great ones out there, including the levels you'll make. Who knows what building levels in this game will inspire you to do.

From the father that is reliving his childhood, to new generation experiencing one of the best and most iconic franchises of all time. Game offers incredible variety down to keeping the physics for each game iteration true to the original.

To put it simply, this game is outstanding. With plenty of user-created levels to play, mini games that at as small Mario games themselves, and the power of creativity to create your own levels, this game has massive re-play value. Sure, there will be the terrible levels and "automatic" levels that will spring up, but with the rating system and how it's all managed, they will get weeded out eventually. One thing to take note of (which hasn't bothered me at all) is that not all the features are available from the start; they are all free, but they are unlocked over a period of a week or so. This is a great game, and a must-buy for any Wii U owner.

I was hyped about Mario Maker for a while. And while it is a fun game, it's mostly because I love building levels. Playing levels other players have created is a gamble, as most are apparently made by 8 year-olds who think filling the screen full of invincibility stars and 100s of enemies is a fun level. Still, even the constant flow of sub-par user-created content is addictive in its own way.

This is absolutely the best Wii U game out there bar none. It is extremely well thought out and will never run out of content to play as you get to play everyones levels that people upload to the web. It is brilliant brilliant brilliant.

Mario maker isn’t just about making levels. My favorite part is made levels and how creative maps are. I wished I brought this game when it came out. Highly recommend any Mario to buy this with no questions asked!

Accessible to adults and kids. My 5 year old son loves building levels and making me play them. We both have a blast. The ability to share and play levels made by other users online is awesome! I just wish there was a 2-player option.

The game itself is great. Its fun to create your own levels and create a more challenging mario experience. The down side, no fault to the actual game, is the insanely brutal and unforgiving levels that have been created by other users

My child absolutely loves it. I peeked over his shoulder and then I got addicted as well. You can make your own levels and the levels you choose from are spectacular. Reminded me of playing super mario bros back in the day. 5 stars !

My kids all love this game. It's played quite regularly and they have created a level they call Mario's Nightmare. It's so frustratingly hard, that I don't like to play it :) Fun, creative game adding a new spice to an old franchise.

This game will reignite old childhood memories of playing NES and SNES for hours. The courses are tough and replay value is almost infinite. I would recommend buying this game. An instant classic for the Wii U and Nintendo franchise.

This game is pretty cool. I have enjoyed creating my own Mario levels. I also like changing the the hand that shows on the screen when you are building levels. Playing levels that other people have created is fun and challenging.

Having the ability to use your imagination to create your own world is pretty cool. It is not a game for quitters as it does take time to create the world but you get such satisfaction after its complete and you get to run it.

This game takes the fun of your typical Mario bros game and adds the ability to create and play user level which for the most part are extremely difficult. The difficulty though is what makes this game stand out the most.

If you like new experiences then this game is for you. It is not a traditional Mario game in which you play through a bunch of levels and worlds. Here, you unleash your creativity and develop levels for other player to play.
