This is good and bad. The community in the game has made some great levels, but you have to wade through a lot of bad levels or do some looking online to find good levels. I don't know how this will affect the longevity of this title. Nintendo is releaseing updates to ease some of these issues. Level creation is really simple, but has a lot of depth.

I really like the ideas of being able to create and play your own and other people's levels. On 3/3/16 nintendo had a nintendo direct and the said there are over 6.2 million levels created for this game!

This one of the best games Nintendo has made. The replay value is so high, its crazy. They are going to be updating the game with more items to use on levels that you create. A must have for any Mario fan.

Everyone in the house from 8 - 42 loves this game. Make sure to go back everyday when you first start playing to get all the unlocks. You will lose track of time while playing this game. It is so fun!!!!!

Super Mario Maker is a great game! It gives players the tools to create levels utilizing the gamepad. Gamers are now able to use their imaginative minds and design their very own levels. Once you create your levels, you can upload them online for everyone around the world can play. It's nice to see gamers play your levels and give you recognition. Some of the levels that I have played online by random users are amazing! A must have game for any Super Mario fan!

The game is a must have for Mario fans. Even if you aren't excited about making your own level, getting to explore near endless levels created by others always offers something new and different to do.

The create your own levels is a lot of fun. Only negative was how long you had to wait to unlock everything to make the levels great - but playing the levels made by other users is a breath of fresh air.

Fun game allowing you to use your creativity and imagination. The family takes turns making different levels and then we all take turns trying to beat the worlds. Lots of fun and hasn't gotten old yet.

This has to be one of my favorite wii u purchases. I'm old school and love Mario. Now, to be able to create boards, it is awesome. I also love being able to play ones that others created. Great Idea!

What's not to love it's Mario and the fact you can make your own levels then put them online for people to challenge just makes the game even better

The whole family plays this game from my 6 year old daughter to my 12 year old son. They actually argue over who's turn it is. Very fun game and allows them to be creative and design their own levels.

We bought this game for my oldest son who is 10 years old. He loves this game and he creates hard levels for me to try and beat. This game is almost like a mind craft for Nintendo. It's a winner!!!

Loads of great tools for building fun levels. A little disappointed with the quality of high ranking levels in the "marketplace", but hopefully Nintendo will find a way to get good levels up there.
