This game is more Mario then you or your kids can handle. Want something easy? Play an easy map. Want to be challenged? Delve deep into the insane creations of the online community. Some of these puzzles are just genius and take time to figure out. I played a map where someone had figured out how to create 4 puzzles with mini bosses at the end of each. If your feeling creative you can also make your maps! Create for days! Whatever twisted nightmarish impossibility you can imagine. Just make sure you can complete it yourself at the end or it won't be posted online. Cons: You have to unlock the creation elements for making your own maps by playing 100's of random player created maps.

This game is quite good and would recommend it. Lots of fun and lots to do, there's a few things I wish they would add but can foresee then possibly adding in the future. As is the game is great.

My 9 year old son bought this game and loves everything he can do with it. The classic appearance combined with the ability to create your own levels is really fun and inspires his creativity.

If you have ever wanted to make a course in Mario this is the game to get. Takes a while to unlock certain things but all the different Mario games you can use as bases for courses are awesome.

Firstly, this is 2D mario, if you don't like 2D mario then turn somewhere else! The main draw of this game is being able to create your own mario levels! the tools are simple and aren't intimidating at all. If you don't feel up to the challenge of creating, then theres always new levels to play made by others around the world.

This game is well designed and extremely fun! Nintendo has finally given us the tools to make our own Mario levels! I play this with my wife late into the night. I highly recommend the buy.

I love playing levels designed from players around the world. I also spend many hours designing my own levels and let my imagination wander.

Endless fun. Making crazy levels and watching your friends try to play them is awesome. Plus, being able to play other people's creative levels online is such a pleasure. Highly recommended.

This game would go in the same category as Minecraft, Little Big Planet, Disney Infinity. Super Mario Maker is the building game for Mario fans. Lets you create and play hundreds of levels.

If you are looking for a traditional run and jump Mario game turn away right now. This is all about being a creative builder and having the patience to make your own Mario levels from scratch. However, if you are a true Mario fan this game will make you appreciate all the hard work that goes into creating a Mario classic.

Mario is the godfather of platformers, and this is yet a another entry into the pantheon. Even if you don't like making levels there are millions of creative levels by others you can play.

My kids wanted Mario Maker for Christmas. Now I was not able to find the game on sale however with the Gamers Club I saved 12$ on the item. This is a great service that Best Buys offers.

Very nostalgic with all the older Mario themes. So many options for creating levels and playing other levels. It's a lot of fun and there's always something new with user created levels.

I mean what can I say about this game....It's a mashup of original Mario side scrolling style, with the customization that is almost endless. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for anyone.

This might be my favorite Super Mario game. It's just so much fun, but also a pain at times...a good pain mind you lol. It's fun even if you have no interest in making your own levels.

Playing through the premade levels is fun but playing the challenging stages people create is the best. This game really brings out the creativity in you and I really love that aspect.

I bought this for my son who has been waiting of this game to come out. He just loves it!! Loves to come up with idea for games himself so being able to design his own levels is great!

The game gives you a really intuitive toolset for making classic mario levels. Its too bad there are so many poor ones uploaded...but dont let that stop you. There are gems out there!

This game is fantastic! It gives the player developer tools which allows and almost endless amount of freedom to create levels for everyone to enjoy (or tear their hair out trying!)
