This game is great, as would be expected by how it presents itself. Unfortunately, they plagued it with a terrible item unlock system, which forces you to spam bricks or make boring levels using the minimal starting components before you're allowed to be given more items to work with. Because of this, I've pretty much not used the level creation mode. Playing other people's levels is great, but after spending two hours copy/pasting blocks to fill the Gamepad screen and still not unlocking everything, I've never felt like going back to the creator mode. Will be nice when/if transferable saves ever become a thing, and I could just start with everything fully unlocked.

This is the game we have all been waiting for.....the Mario game that NEVER ENDS. Is there any "story" or "campaign"? No...but frankly, it isn't needed. Mario Maker 100 course challenge (with different difficulties) is good fun. The event courses are good fun. Additionally, a little research on the internet will yield some of the better creators and you can play just their maps. There is no end to this game.

This is a fun game, something that hasnt been made before. It is cool you can play other peoples levels and rate them. On the other hand, it does get boring sometimes doing the same thing.

What a great way to be creative. My 10 yr old loves it and it's very good to be creative.

I really enjoy playing this game - it's like the old sidescrolling Mario games that I grew up with, except you can create your own course and play those that others have made (downloaded from the internet). I would highly recommend this game - it's worth the money.

Fun game must have for collector. It does get old quick since there is no story line world levels to follow. Replay value is higher because you could always place someone's custom levels.
