For an introduction to the new generation, Odessey does everything it can to make you love Mario and his world. As someone who already did, this was a welcome experience, albeit unnecessary and something of a victory lap. Highly recommend playing with the joycons undocked as there are many moves you cannot do in handheld. A collectathon for completionists will take forever, but for the average gamer, you’ll come away satisfied.

The hat threw me off and almost visually made me not to buy the game because it looked stupid but I was quickly proven wrong. I love the game and am super happy I bought it.

If you think Knack 2 and Super Mario Bros 2 are the greatest games ever made, then think again. This game is a solid 7/5 and I would recommend everyone just throw your money at this game.

this has that classic Mario 3d feel. Everyone can have fun. It is easy for the beginners or those with aging hand eye, but plenty of advanced activity for those that want the challenge.

This game is incredibly forgiving, yet deceptively simple. It’s just pure fun. If it seems too easy, it’s only because you aren’t trying hard enough to find everything hidden in the game.

I have not felt this way about a Mario title since Mario 64. At a glance the Cappy twist and mechanics seem idiotic, but they actually helped elevate its brilliance. An absolute must buy.

Bought as a Christmas gift but I played it a a couple years ago and it was an enjoyable experience. It is a must buy for MOST Switch owners.

Found it here cheaper than most places! My son LOVES this game! He hasn’t put it down since Christmas and he got at least 6 other new games.

Mario is very good for few weeks and within few weeks you will able to navigate all levels and not find enough challenged after sometime. It becomes very repetitive and mundane. So people who will play occasionally are good with game.. but people like me who play everyday are not being challenged in the game and so you might lose interest after some point.. Overall good time and excites for 2-3 weeks.. after interest dies down

Pretty fun game. Decent story plot. Game is a little repetitive at times but overall decent game.

What a terrific franchise Mario is. As much as I want to condemn Nintendo for another new piece of hardware and another non-backwards compatible cartridge, the system and the game Rock.

Purchased this game for my nephew for his birthday. He loves it....Playing it constantly.....

This game is so absolutely wonderful ; I've had the most fun playing this game then I have with any Mario game in so long. I absolutely recommend this game for anyone getting a switch!

This is a great game. Like other Mario titles, they were creative with the design and gameplay. There is also a two player mode where one person is Mario and the other person is the hat.

If you enjoyed 007 Gold Finger then this game is for you. You obtain the ability to throw hats like the villain Oddjob and take over other characters body movements. This game is a hoot!

I like how this game goes back to the Super Mario 64 and Sunshine style of games. It’s not a side scroller, but instead you go to a number of different worlds to get power moons.

It did not win game of the year but it did for the fans of nintendo. This is an absolute epitome of what Nintendo has been doing for years which is creating memories.

Love this game. Is a little bit different that Mario passing the stages that we are used to. But definatelly love it!
