The Wii U left us wanting for the next great 3D Mario adventure. It never came and it was worth the wait. Super Mario Odyssey is a perfect example of how different Nintendo's mindset is with the Switch. Do yourself a favor and walk out to BestBuy and buy this game.

This game is a lot of fun!! Well worth the money and it is very entertaining!! Has some screens that are old school Mario action which adds extra appeal to the game, lots of action and a lot of exploring!!

Mario is a classic and this game is nothing less than what is necessary for a classic game! It has enough free roam, puzzles, bosses, and replay value for many styles. I love searching for the moons & puzzles while my boyfriend prefers the challenge of the bosses!

I'm 51 years old and bought this for my kids. Good luck to them for getting a chance to play it. This is by far the best looking and most fun mario game that I have ever had the pleasure to play. If Zelda didn't make you purchase a switch, Mario definitely should!

This is definitely the best 3D Mario game to date. There are a lot of nice controller options, like using motion controls with the joy cons. The game runs very smoothly as well. Highly recommended.

Beautifully done game that any Mario fan will enjoy. I am no where near completion, but am enjoying the journey of the character. The game is challenging enough that it keeps you engaged, but not so challenging that it is frustrating. Highly recommend this game.

If you liked previous Mario games, this is something you will want to pick up. The amount of fun you can have by just messing around is ridiculous. It is just fun, exploration and a good time sinker

I have beaten this game and most of the bonus content. I have around 550 moons. I spent around 40 hours immersed in this fun-filled world. If you are reading this, no need to worry... you and/or your kids will most definitely, 100% enjoy this masterpiece. Get it!

But this game is ridiculously fun! Worth every penny, I took my time and spent ~25 hours on my initial story playthrough, then there's still tons of moons left to go back and collect after the main game finishes. Makes a great excuse to pick it back up anytime.

This game exceeded my expectations. It's a surprisingly refreshing take on the Mario universe, but at the same time, it cleverly merges classic elements of Mario gameplay into his modern world. If you're a fan of the Super Mario series, DO NOT miss this one!

Bought this as a gift to my kids and they love playing it. If my kids enjoy it then I’m all for it. I tried playing it but I find it difficult to play and I lost interest. But I will be trying again.

Even though the game is easier than it's previous 3D games, only negative part about it,the game still looks incredible and entertains for hours. I'd recommend collecting the moons needed to get to each level then coming back for more after you complete the game.

Great game in the series. I really enjoy the combination of 3d with retro 2d sidescrolling in sections. Posessing creatures and items with the hat is also entertaining. If I had one complaint about this game it's that the packaging is neither edible or delicious.

I'd rank Odyssey as an average 3D Mario experience. The music is fantastic, the level design is pretty good, and the camera/controls are spot on. Where I have issue is that after the short story, I really had no desire to go and collect 800 (or whatever it is) moons. The Cappy mechanic is cool, but not my favorite as other power ups in other Mario titles. Overall, it's a very solid Mario game with great charm. Regardless, the problems explained above keep this Mario experience from being top tier for me. Still recommend it though and very much worth your time.

This is probably my favorite Mario game since Super Mario 64, the exploration is so much fun & I loved the excitement of seeing what each new kingdom held. I expected a bit more of a hub world, because of how it was marketed but all together it’s a fantastic game

You can finish the main game in about 3 days. The post game world is fabulous. So much stuff to collect. That might sound boring. But, playing this game is a joy.

A great game!!! Nintendo keeps on coming out with solid Games and Super Mario Odyssey is no exception. Everything about it is great; the concept, the graphics, everything! This is a fun-filled, family friendly game. I'm enjoying it immensely and highly recommend.

Been waiting for this game for over two months since pre ordering and it has been very well worth the wait. Immersive worlds and sandbox gameplay make this game unique, along with some new characters that aid you along the way make this game THE game of the year.
