I first learned about this game when i was traveling in Japan! It looked like so much fun and i was seriously hoping that they would release it in the US. Luckily they did and it was a great Christmas present to buy to go along with the switch i purchased.

This is the best Mario since Mario Galaxy 2! Nintendo took the best of all the Mario games and made Mario Odyssey. I am having so much fun playing this game, collecting Moons, buying different costumes and becoming different characters from the Mario universe.

Super Mario Odyssey is a great addition to the Mario series. Lots of open worlds broken down into smaller version. Not as open world as a lot of newer games but I feel this adds to enjoyment, doesn’t detract from it. Makes use of the excellent switch hardware.

Hoping for the next great Mario game? Well Nintendo has finally released it. They not only made great game play improvements such as being able to control and transform into a wide variety of cool things like dinosaurs, but they've made the graphics great too.

My 5 year old daughter loves this game! I didnt think this game would be all that good but it’s actually a great game to play with friends!

This game has finally gotten the mario series back to the glory days that was Mario 64 on the N64. It has the same open world feel, unique bosses, and end game drive to keep you coming back for more to collect all the stars/moons and unlock more things to do.

Super Mario Odyssey represents a return to Super Mario 64-style open environments and exploration. I really appreciated the player freedom and the constant pull to discover more secrets in its expansive levels. Highly recommended for Switch owners.

This game is quite an adventure. My son loves it. He applauds the detail of the game. The quality is excellent and will have you hooked. Mario games are a win win all day.

If you like the newer Mario games (like Super Mario Galaxy) then you will love this game. If you are looking for a side-scroller like the original Mario games you may not like this. It's lots of fun and has a lot of gameplay unique to this version of Mario.

I haven't played this game much yet (~3-4 hours) but so far I am impressed. I can tell this game lives up to the hype. I would say this is one of the staple games for Switch owners to own, along with Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

I purchased this game for my 14-year-old daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. Usually she goes through games like this solving them within a couple of days but that this one, she's been added for a couple of weeks and it still entertains her.

I've been a Mario fan since the NES days and I have to say, this new addition to the franchise is pleasing. Nintendo did a great job blending elements of old school game play along with new moves and amazing graphics. A must have when getting a Switch!

Absolutely awesome game for someone who loves the franchise, and it's great for anyone that has an itch for games with a ton to do.

This game has got it all, action, romance, comedy, and most importantly: hats. Great experience so far, love the environments and controls, but most especially the hats, and the customization for costumes is great too. All in all, it's a hat-sterpiece.

Mario is back and as good as he's ever been. All of the same moves and many new ones are available from the start and there is no end to the collecting of moons (the new stars). This game is platforming perfection and should be in every Switch owners library.

I've played almost every Mario game (excluding Sunshine) and this is almost as good as Super Mario World. The game utilizes great environments to hide away Moons and has a really neat system (Cappy). All that said, one word to describe this game would be JOY.

The first hour of the game has been awesome. The music and Mario in true HD make this look like it's going to be one unique experience. Sadly my kids have taken over and I probably won't get another chance to play this weekend, but they got to sleep sometime.

I have to say that this is one of my favorite games on Switch. I found myself continually smiling as I played through the different levels and the 8-bit levels within levels brought me back to memories of my first NES. A truly delightful game.
