I had a lot of fun playing this game. I’m not sure that it’s a particularly innovative entry in the Mario series, but the ability to transform into various enemies by throwing your hat at them is an interesting feature. I would recommend the game.

I have very limited time as a new father and this game is easy to pick up and put down as needed to care for my little one. Gameplay is addictive and after beating the game there is still plenty to do collecting moons and outfits/trophies/stickers/etc.

Nintendo delivered on this one. I'm well over 20 hours into this game in just a week and no signs of slowing down. It's my favorite Mario since Mario 64 and I believe Nintendo knocked it out of the park. You won't regret it if you're a Mario/Nintendo fan!

This is the best Mario game since Mario 64. It takes all of those great things that the 64 did and makes them so much better. Hands down the best mario, and maybe the best mario game ever. Mario Sunshine, Mario 64, and now Mario Odyssey. Top 3 in no order

Super Mario gets the Breath of the Wild treatment in the sense of making a whole new game that doesn't follow the formula in a good way. Hundreds of Power Moons to collect in a World Tour style progression, delivering a seemingly endless amount of fun.

When I saw the previews for Super Mario Odyssey, I wasn't sure that Cappy was enough to make the gameplay seem fresh. I was wrong. The gameplay with Cappy feels new, and being able to take over other characters (frog, t-rex, goombas, etc) is interesting.

What's there to say? This is the new Mario game for the Nintendo Switch, and it is a lot of fun. It is quite different from games past, but with games like Zelda BOTW, it looks like open world games are going to continue. Definitely a lot of fun.

Wow, this game is the best Mario game ive ever played, and i played them all. SO much to do in this game, replay value is excellent. Trust me it will take you a long time to fully complete the game. Mario has never looked or felt this great. A must buy.

My 6&8 year olds love this game...a little hard for them, but they enjoy running the jaxi over cliffs and sinking in sand or getting eaten by a T-Rex...so they have fun even when dying in the game.

This has been one of my favorite titles for Switch! The open world really pulls you in, but there's enough direction to keep you on the storyline and making progress through the game. I haven't tried the co-op mode but it looks like a nifty idea.

Super Mario Odyssey is not only a natural progression of the 3D platformer genre, it sets the bar for what all 3D platformers should be. I haven't played anything like it before and doubt I will play anything like it in the near future. True masterpiece!

If yulike Mario games you will just love this one. Great adventure and graphics makes it a must for video game fans. This is probably my son’s favorite game and he is hooked on it. I have always enjoyed the original Mario games and I also love this one.

I had heard people were loving the game, but I hadn't watched any previews before buying. It reminded me of Mario 64 or Mario Galaxy, but also included some NES style play—and I love that. It's not a hard game to play, so younger kids can enjoy it too.

It's Mario... come on!!! AWESOME!!!! My 4 year old cannot put this thing down! Got 2 games and when this one gets too much he goes to the other and back to this one when done! I also played it and it was pretty enjoyable. Easy to use, fun and just fun!

My grandson is getting Nintendo Switch for Christmas and has said he wants this game, cause it's cool. So I bought this game for him. It's a new release and I'm sure it's perfect. Can't wait, he will love it, I know. Will update after Christmas if I can.

Definitely a candidate for GOTY. Mario Odyssey has provided hours of gameplay for me and still turning out the tricks. The game is great for new and old fans alike with the many throwbacks to previous titles in the series. Must have for any switch owner.

Another Nintendo Mario game and another winner. If you like Mario games though the years then you will love this one too. It's a Great game and a lot of fun. Now with a new twist using Marios cap to help though those tough spots. Get this game and enjoy.
