While not the best MARIO ever it’s certainly great. The game has lots of call backs to MARIO games going back to the nes, snes, and n64. It’s also one of the most far out Mario games to come out in a while. It’s totally a trip and that’s the point.

Fun and easy to pass each level. There are other components that can challenge you but they don't require these to complete the game. The challenges are what makes it worth for me as an adult to play. But my son has fun doing the easy parts

Got the game at Christmas for me and my son. I am in the luncheon kingdom and my son is at the beginning. He helps me when I can't get pass something. We love the game. Love how they integrated the old system games into it. I highly recommend it.

I already had high hopes for Super Mario Odyssey, but it nevertheless exceeded them. Easy enough to get into for younger players, it nevertheless offers a ton of exploration and extra challenge for the more serious of gamers, making it a must-have.

Bought this game for my Son as a Christmas gift, so in had to wait in order to review it. Nintendo nailed it with this one, awesome game!! The graphics, gameplay, sound effects, everything about SMO is top notch. A must buy for any Switch owner!!

Such a fun game. I don’t feel any Mario games have let us down for a long time

This game does not disappoint. I've played Mario all my life and this is probably one of the best games I've played. The different worlds keep you busy and they are all unique. You get hours of game play - I'm not even halfway through the game!

At this point my review shouldn't matter, as every legitimate video game journalist has already given Mario Odyssey it's highest accolades. Very fun game, easy to lose the hours playing, just as easy to play on the go for a few minutes at a time.

Picked this up on the day of release after impatiently waiting for it for months and all I can say is “amazing.” This game is truly amazing. Without a doubt, this, in my opinion, is the best game for the switch, and people of all ages can enjoy it.

This game was great for me and my roommate to play on our free time. We had both played Super Mario Galaxy before so I decided to buy this game and was not let down. He has beaten it on his account but I'm still working on it. Awesome game overall.

Awesome game, played all of five minutes before my wife saw I had it. Now she plays it all the time and we barely talk. And when we do she just mutters about finding all the moons, gotta find all the moons honey gotta get the moons. Thanks mario r

Awesome! Great game and literally so much to do. Get this game for all ages. As an adult you will want to play just as much as the kids (or even together in the fun multiplayer!)

This isn't exactly a new style of Mario Game, but it is one that offers new ways to play and integrates the history of Mario (from 8 bit to Mario 64) without sacrificing gameplay. The game is plenty long and the storyline is the usual but it's fun.

As a kid, born in the 90s, Mario games hold a special place in my heart. Now with Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch, it’s a fantastic and worth the experience. Highly recommend.

Great for any fan of the Mario franchise. Best game available for Nintendo Switch with the obvious exception of Breath of the Wild. While the game dynamics were not as revolutionary as Galaxy, the game delivers rewarding gameplay and hours of fun.

Amazing game fun for all ages and many hours of happiness

This game plays like a mix of Galaxy, 64 and Sunshine. It is very engaging and fun and encourages “open world” exploration if you so desire, or you can just stay on track and do the minimum to advance to still keep the kids engaged and having fun.

So happy to have purchased this games. From all the memories of all the other MARIO games, this one takes it to a whole other level. The graphics, the score, the experience are all truly amazing. Highly recommended!

This game is great for fellow Mario lovers! It’s easy enough for the whole family. Clever fun to be things like Bullet Bill or Gumba for once. Graphics are great, just what you’d expect from Nintendo. Not much of a story line. Best for exploring.
