Who doesn't love Mario? I haven't played a Mario game in a while, but after buying a Switch, it felt like it should be mandatory to start with this game. Nostalgia is strong with this game.

I purchased Odyssey for my son and he has informed me that Odyssey is the best Mario game to date. He has not stopped talking about it since he started playing it. So.... yes I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys the Mario games.

Simply one of the best Mario games in a very long time. The 2 player for Cappy is great for younger players, but not really engaging for older players. highly recommend

This is a great game, really beings you back to the old days and makes you notice how far we got in technology. I love Mario and this game will bring hours and hours of fun even after I watched the whole thing on a stream already.

This game is a fun and engaging New addition to the super Mario games. It has fun and exciting new locations and a blend of new style gameplay and throwbacks to older games including Donkey Kong. A must play for all games, new and old.

Did you like Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Sunshine? if so, you will love Super Mario Odyssey. If this is your first Mario game, then you're starting with one of the best. Lots to do and many ways to do them and so much fun learning how.

After a good start, Breath of the Wild was a let down for me, so I'm hoping my initial glowing review of Odyssey sticks. As usual with Mario game stories, this one is pretty goofy, but I'm enjoying triple jumping my way around the worlds.

One of the best Mario games ever, IMO. Graphics push the limits of the Switch, and game mechanics play as well as ever. Any Mario fan shouldn’t skip this one. Oh, and you can play it on the go, as with all Switch titles. Need I say more?

I have been playing Mario games since 1985 and I have to say this if my new favorite. So much to do with so many different play styles using Cappy. Super Mario World was my previous favorite and I think Odyssey may have just overtaken it.

I have not bought any Mario or NIntendo games since the GameCube. This game does not disappoint. A+ story mode and after completion there are dozens of hours more of gameplay (Many moons available to find after Final Boss stage).

So I bought this for my 9 year old to play on his new Switch. I don't know what he did - but he managed to win the game in a weekend. I decided to read up on the game after that and learned that there are different settings to make the game easier to win. However, when I talked to him about it - he said he didn't do all the easy stuff. Then he proceeded to play and win it again - this time doing it the harder way. Kids! Hah! So it's a fun game - but easy to win. This might be one to rent if your kid can play hours at a time.

This Mario game is on the level of the great Mario games like Mario bros 3,super Mario world, super Mario 64, and Mario sunshine. Hours of fun, great characters, different powers from so many different cappy Possessions. Must buy.

Everything you would want from a 3d platformer with Mario. No micro transactions, everything is in the game! That's great! the controls are about the same as any other Mario 3D game, which means its as unforgiving or fun as you remember.

This game brings back memories of Super Mario 64. The new game mechanics, the addition of Cappy, as well as the in depth storyline and replay value are definitely great with this game. I would recommend this game for any Super Mario fan!

Mario is back and greater than ever. I haven't had this much fun since Mario 64. They nailed it with almost every aspect of a Mario game. I hope the next one just doesn't take as long to get here. Keep making those 3D Marios Nintendo! :)

I love how they redid the Mario world. The story line is the same, as far as rescuing Peach goes, but the way you play is a lot more fun. Trying to get all of the power moons and coins is tough work and will keep you playing for a while!

The kids absolutely love this game, its fun for the whole family.

This game is so much fun and much easier to play than I expected! I’ve never been good at the free play games like this but it’s pretty intuitive and easy
