This game was a X-mas gift for my son. He loves Mario. And this game was must have for him. He loves how the graphics have changed from previous Mario games. He likes how the story line goes, he also likes that they are some parts of the game that are easy while others are a little harder but nothing that cannot be passed. He doesn't like that they make you read through out the game whenever you have to interact with another character.

The absolute best Mario game ever and I really don’t think it’s up for debate. You can easily squeeze a hundred hours out of this game looking for all of the moons in all of the colorful and beautifully animated environments!

I am just lost for words. The spirit of Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine lives on in this game. It was as if I stepped into a portal to my childhood. I highly recommend the "single joy-con in each hand" motion control scheme. The motions controls feel so intuitive and really enhance the gameplay. Cappy serves as a great sidekick, with his boomerang and capture abilities providing a refreshing take on the classic 3D Mario Mechanics.

My son asked for this for Christmas and he loves it. The story and graphics are really good.

This game is so much fun! It's difficult enough to be a good challenge but not so hard that it's frustrating. Nintendo consistently makes games that walk the line between chaos and finely-tuned control. The mechanics are perfectly balanced and the game has so many fun little features and details. This is a nigh-perfect game that provides hours and hours of gameplay.

This is a very fun Game. Easy for all ages, fun new tricks, definitely recommend this new Mario game!

literally applauded as the end credits rolled on Super Mario Odyssey. I’d spent the last 15 hours with a giant grin on my face, and somehow the climax put the perfect surprising and delightful exclamation point on the plumber’s latest adventure. This is another brilliant redefinition of the very platforming genre he helped popularize 30 years ago. And best of all, even with the story complete, Odyssey has so much more fun to offer.

My grandchildren love playing this game. I loved the price.

There's not much more I can say that hasn't already been said by actual critics and other users. The game is as much fun as you would expect from a Nintendo title with tons of content. Looks and performs extremely well either in docked or portable mode. In portable mode, the Switch can play this game for at least 2.5 hours before the battery is depleted. Would recommend to any Switch owner as an essential, must have title for the system.

Excellent story, excellent gameplay, excellent graphics. I love it!

When I think of video games, I think of Mario, and Mario Odyssey is fantastic. It is very fun to play

Fantastic game, loads of stuff to collect and plenty challenging enough for a quick run through an area. Good laughs and set design on each planet along with costume changes that are purely cosmetic (unless you're unlocking further progress, but still.) Not recommended to play on a switch lite due to the joycon twirls being pretty useful but it can be done.

Growing up, I played Super Mario Bros. I remember getting an SNES to share with my brother and playing Super Mario World. I remember playing Mario 64. But I never remember being captivated with a Mario game. For almost 15 years, I've not picked up a new Mario game... Until now. And I can rightfully say I have fallen in love. The varied worlds, the gorgeous art direction, the overwhelming charm--this game is nothing short of phenomenal.

Super fun game for all ages. Bosses might be hard for young kids.
