Better than last Mario on WIIU. More to do, better graphics and better game play. Missing multiplayer but honestly multiplayer was so cramp d and confusing anyways. There is 2 player with the hat but it’s not real 2 player. Not sure about cross console coop. I say get this game.

Nintendo has proven time After time that they make amazing games and with the release of Super Mario Odyssey, they have proved it again. The game is a fantastic addition to the Super Mario series and in a few years will be looked back on as a classic. This game is a masterpiece.

Mario has never been better. this game is the most fun i’ve had playing a 3D mario aside from galaxy. obviously this game is a must buy if you own a switch but I was a few years late.

Must purchase for any system owner. Story is the same as always but you come for the gameplay. There are countless secrets to discover and the short objective style is great for the portability of the switch. One of the best marios of all times. Only second to Super Mario World.

My kids got Odyssey with the new Switch. They love playing it, even though they watched the walkthroughs online before we even got it. The game play has been really good, and it was nice that they integrated some old school Mario side scrolling action into the game.

I had high hopes for this game and Nintendo did not disappoint. An incredibly fun adventure, loaded with nostalgia. The ending had me literally say out loud, "This is the best game I've ever played." And I still had another 600 moons to find, which was an equally fun challenge.

This game is reminiscent of Super Mario 64. Super Mario 64 was my favorite game growing up. I've played it for days on end. It's beautiful to play a Mario game that feels so much like the original. I've had so much fun playing this game. I put in at least 30 hours so far!

It's a me! Mario!....need I say more!? Nintendo hits a home run with this twist on its most classic and popular character franchise. Endless land to explore and expansive game play in this new format. Mario now uses his hat buddy to go farther above and beyond!

Played single player for most of the game. Worth the time playing, but have not played with a friend. Only one to two player game.

I've had a blast playing this with my 9yo son. We came off playing Bowser's Fury and this felt like a great continuation of that gameplay. Same idea with the power moons as the cat shines. More puzzle-solving, scavenger hunting, task completion and area unlocking than fighting enemies but the boss battles are classic. And taking control of enemies and using their powers is a great twist on power-ups, and even necessary to complete levels. Like the title says, so much fun!

It's fairly easy but if you play video games for the sake of getting some relaxation like me, that's a good thing. It also has a lot of replay value with more objectives after you beat the main game.

Nintendo is continuing to crush the game releases. Perfect level of difficulty for those who are new to gaming and those who are experienced veterans. Two player Cappy mode is also great if you have a friend who isn't great at video games but still wants to contribute as well.

I do love this game, it’s a lot of fun for one player, I do not care for the two player for this game due to someone being Mario and the other person being Cappy (Mario’s hat), I just don’t like that, I wish you could be like Luigi for this game. It’s a cool game.

This game is certainly one of the best games on the Nintendo Switch!! Incredibly fun and keeps you busy beyond the end of the main storyline. Keep in mind this is a one player game (with an okay 2 player mode), so not a game the entire family can play together, but still fun!

I mean i dont even know what to say that hasn’t already been said. One of Nintendo’s all time greats

Like the Korok Seeds in this spring's Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey is filled with tiny environmental puzzles and micro-challenges each hiding a moon to collect. It's a joy to explore and stretch Mario's legs after the cramped and tightly guided 3D and Galaxy games.

Haven’t stopped playing since I purchased it on release day! The game is great for various levels of expertness. A novice Mario player can get through the main story line pretty comfortably. Someone who wants to challenge themselves would be able to do so to various degrees.

We got this game for one of our son's as a Christmas present. He loves it. He had played it before we purchased it on someone else's system, so we knew that he would like it. He did. It's one of his favorite games.

This is the first new Mario adventure I've purchased since Super Mario 64. There are plenty of similarities to that title, but on a seemingly much larger scale. I've only played a few hours so far, but I'm very impressed to this point. It's quite impressive. Everything from the breathtaking visuals to the creativity and imagination required to seek out all of the moons and coins within each kingdom... I am really very impressed with this game. I especially like that there are several points in the game in which Mario reverts to his flat, 8-bit, 2-dimensional NES form in order to complete a side-scrolling throwback section. It serves as a pretty cool nod to those of us who grew up on that Mario back in the day. If I had to say that there was a drawback to this game, I'd say it's the complexity of the controls, although to be fair, I am still new to both this game and the Nintendo Switch as a whole. I definitely recommend this game!
