It's a great game for all ages and is a must have for the Switch. I was worried about using the hat as the main game mechanic but it's use is great and integrated into the plot well. Hours of play after finishing the story is great as well.

Super fun, extremely inventive and imaginative game. Great game for people who remember super Mario 64 fondly, or for anyone new to Mario. Can get non-members or kids to play with the co-op mode. If you loved Zelda BOTW you'll love this game too.

Mario Odyssey captures everything I loved about Mario 64 and adds to it with the addition of Cappy, the ability to control objects temporarily. This adds some new puzzle elements that combined with great controls makes this my favorite Mario yet.

Strange enough that it stands out as a unique and memorable Mario experience but with enough classic mechanics and familiar feelings that it doesn't alienate with a desperation for originality. Very happy with the game, would recommend to anyone.

I'm not much of a gamer, but actually bought this to keep my skills sharp for doing robotic surgeries in the future. My niece has also just discovered video games, and this game keeps both of us entertained. Love the graphics, and the storyline.

Review based on purchasing process and recommendations. Gift for grandson birthday in late March. Parents suggested this game for his new Switch system. Easy purchase at local store. Will update after grandson has a chance tp play this game.

A very fun and entertaining game, my 6-year-old son is very happy with his game, including his 4 and 3-year-old brothers.

Super Mario Odyssey has been a blast. I've beat it and replayed it twice already. It is seriously a must have for any Mario fan. I would definitely rank it among the greatest Mario games ever made. I can't recommend this game enough!

I just got this game recently and it’s been a blast so far! A great bargain at the $39 I paid for it. Easy controls yet challenging enough for people of all ages.

I am absolutely amazed at the creativity and fun and depth that you can find in this game. So many levels with so many things to do in each level with so many surprises and ways to accomplish getting those moons. It's a system defining game!!!

This Mario game tops them all! Incorporates elements of past Mario games while putting a modern spin on things. The assist mode is great for young players. Intelligent and smart design. Easy to play but challenging enough for the seasoned gamer.

high potential for game of the year, with another wonderful installment to the Mario series. exploration is off the charts, not to mention the various forms you can take on with Cappy, Mario's newest partner in crime. Would recommend to anybody!

We love this game , my son has played it quite a few times

I never played N64, so it took some time to wrap my head around it, but this is a fun game and it keeps me engaged.

Amazing Super Mario! I have only gotten to the second kingdom with my 6 year old daughter and we are loving it! 1 player mode, 2 player mode, it is amazingly well done. Highly recommended for any Switch owner. Zelda and this game are a must own.

My daughter wanted this for Christmas and wanted this for over a year. She watches the commentators go through it. As a long time video gamer, I would have to say that it is really a great game with endless options for adventure.

Pick up this game to play with my son since it has a two players option. He is 3yrs old and we have a blast. One would control the hat and the other controls Mario. It takes us awhile to get anywhere but we have a blast. Great family game!

Mario is and will always be Nintendo’s primary character. The issue is how can you keep putting him in games that people enjoy and want to play. This game does that is flying colors and it is a recommended buy.
