Another Nintendo console generation has arrived - and so has the famous plumber (erm... I think they ditched that recently...). As always - this is a masterfully crafted experience, that is absolutely gorgeous - and sounds equally as good. From forest areas, to sand worlds to even an ice paradise - this game looks great - and shows off what Nintendo's latest hardware can do. The game play is the tried and true Mario formula - but it is ramped up with all of the new Cappy abilities. This game is platforming perfection and comes highly recommended.

Good game, I liked playing it with another person especially, it was mor complicated than your average Mario game and I enjoyed that.

Great game for anyone, can be enjoyed by a 6 year old or a 40 year and have the same amount of fun, there’s lots to do and many moons to collect.

I've been a fan of Mario since I played it on my NES in the early 90s. This game just gives me the Mario 64 vibes when I play it. Each time I get to a new world it puts a smile on my face. If you like to explore and do quick puzzles, then you will love going through each level finding moons and coins. There are also some great new outfits to customize Mario's look! This game also has a picture mode, which allows you to use filters and different angles to capture all the cool stuff you do. This is a must buy game for anyone who loves video games.

Me and my boys love this game. They play it all the time and I'm not sick of it either. Do yourself a favor and by this game.

This is the game I’ve been waiting for. Encouraged exploration, amazing graphics, catchy soundtrack, and good ol’ platforming. This is a must.

Mario has had dozens of games, and more than a handful of 3D adventures. Most of those 3D adventures never could live up to the beauty and fun of Mario 64, but this one not only is able to accomplish this easily, but it also completely surpasses it. Mario Odyssey is simply the most fun I've ever had in a Mario game! There is always something new waiting around every corner, something new to explore, new rewards every which way you turn. If you like 3D Mario games like Mario 64, Sunshine, or Galaxy, this will be right up your alley.

I have been waiting for years for Nintendo to release a contender to Mario 64. This game exceeds my wildest wishes. It's fun, nostalgic, and entertaining for literally the whole family. My wife even plays it while our 3 year old watches. Did I mention there is are 2D modes as well where you convert to 2D? Such an awesome game. There is a lot that can be done and going through the main story-line took my wife roughly 15 hours, but even once you're done there is still plenty you can do after the end game. I highly recommend this game.

I had a lot of fun with this game I made it relatively quickly but there's still so much more to explore collecting moons to open up new areas

There is so much stuff to find and see in this game and it is a ton of fun to explore the worlds to find and see it. It is a great Mario game.

I like this game, I like being able to roam and explore new areas while collecting different things to assist on my journey. Hours of fun...

There is one single word that best describes Super Mario Odyssey, fun. The game is just pure enjoyment. I was happy every moment of this game, and the ending especially put a giant smile on my face. Every kingdom is a giant, unique playground for you to enjoy. And there are so so many hidden secrets. This game alone makes owning a Nintendo Switch worthwhile. When you factor in other fantastic exclusives like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and ARMS, there are a lot of reasons to buy a Nintendo Switch.

Borrowed this game from the library to see if it was worth buying. It sure is. Bought this for my grandson for a Christmas present. He's gonna love it.

Fun game but kinda short. Son finished it in a day but he was fueled on cokes and Doritos loaded. Side quests keep the replay calue tho.

Fantastic game that hits all the major points a game should. Amazing art style, great controls, smart camera, engaging game play and re-playable. One of the things that I love about this game is the way they handle you "losing a life". Instead of punishing you with trying to find 1-Ups or keeping an eye on your lives, the game just removes some coins from your stash. The great part is that you can just run around the level and recoup your losses which makes the frustration of missing your jumps or that ledge a little less painful.
