Very similar to Mario 64 in overall design but greatly expands on the ideas in that game and improves upon them. The game heavily rewards exploration with the sheer uniqueness of how you aquire each of the collectibles in this collect-a-thon.

It’s a Mario game so you already know it’s good, but I’m in my early 40’s & this is definitely the BEST Mario game since the 80’s, MAN it’s fun!!

I got this game because of how much I loved Mario Sunshine when I had it for the Game Cube. It is SO cool! Have not had the opportunity to try it out, but there is also a two player mode where you can play with two controllers on the same system.

Mario is always fun of course. Game play was fun and kept my attention for the most part but in my opinion this is not the best of them.

If you're a Nintendo fan and enjoyed the Mario World game from Nintendo 64, then this game is for you! Lots of fun and good game play!

Fun family game. This game was the solution for me to get away from the shooter and action games I have been playing. It was a great game and takes you back to basics with a combination of 8 bit Mario and modern era Mario. Well worth it

The controls take some getting use to and two player is a little complicated. However, once you learn the game it ends up being a ton of fun. In two player mode you and your partner have to work together so it keeps you engaged and interactive.

This game is very similar to the Wii U version. Still a 2 minute Bowser kidnapping intro. Not a lot of substance as far as the story goes. Gameplay is basically the same except you now have a hat and can use/control the enemies. The kids like it but they aren’t fighting to play it. Also levels and themes seem a little sloppy and thrown together. There are a few cool things like become 2d. Overall just a very average game.

I picked this game up for my son. He's played Mario on everything from the Wii to the DS. This is another winner. He's already obsessed with it.

Excellent product, beautiful sound a lot of improvement. I really recommend this product if you really care about a clear and clear sound. They work great with a Samsung galaxy S21 ultra 5G.

The game play and the graphics are a must watch. Especially how they bring in the classical aspects of Mario Brothers into the game.

I was hesitant about the new mechanics but Nintendo really nailed this one. This game alone justifies the purchase of a Switch, even though Breath of the Wild did that already. Add Mario Kart and you have the trifecta of amazing portable games.

Awesome to play as everyone's favorite plumber again. The game has a unique mechanic that really set its apart and is really enjoyable.

This is just a beautiful game.. takes full advantage of the Switch's processing power. Took a few tries before my son got the hang of it, but it is really a joy to watch and play.

Stands as one of the best Mario games made. Easy enough for even smaller kids to enjoy running around and finding stars but the more difficult stars and coins will take some time to locate for veteran players. Great fun from start to finish.
