Know Your Child Before You Buy It

The game itself is really nice; great effects and Mario does some cool stuff! We are a huge Nintendo family and love all things Mario. I don’t regret buying the game at all. I just don’t think it was an age appropriate buy. He’s afraid to play it....like, literally. (LOL) We have yet to get past the first challenge with assist mode on. (That big bunny freaked him out and he got overwhelmed.) Perhaps he’ll warm up to it by his next birthday. I’m only rating it average based on my son’s overall response to the game so far.
