Great fame fun to play worth the money and great entertainment

This game is amazing! If everyone in the world stopped what they are doing and played this game we would have world peace! It's so full of joy, happeniess and fun! Brilliant!

I was excited to play Mario 30+ years after first playing with him...very excited with how the game plays and how they shoutout to the old school games throughout the levels!

Super Mario Odyssey feels like a giant playground packed with all sorts of things to do and discover. I particularly like the lack of a timer and no actual lives to lose (you lose 10 coins and are sent back to a nearby platform or checkpoint should Mario perish). This gives players a chance to try tricky jumps and explore without fear of penalty; it's as if Nintendo wants players to experiment with the environment. The Cappy capture mechanic is a joy and feels right at home with Mario. Super Mario Odyssey is an easy purchase choice for any gamer. It's easily accessible, packed with hours of content, and plays like a dream!

Super Mario Odyssey is one of the best 3D Mario games to date. Filled with tons of levels, Easter eggs, and nostalgia, while staying fun in the process. Highly recommend!

Glad that Nintendo came back to a MARIO 64 feel. I always loved playing my N64 and now I get to re live my childhood with a great game that plays great and looks fantastic!

I was always a big fan of Super Mario 64, this game goes beyond that with graphics, creativity and uniqueness of each level. Definitely a must have for any Mario fan.

Mario is amazing, great graphics for the switch. They integrated the old type Mario games into this one as well through out various levels. This is a must buy for Mario fans

This game is really fun but the two player capability is kind of lame. As a child I remember getting stuck being Luigi... now getting stuck being a hat is a new low.

This game is highly entertaining with excellent graphics. Bought it for my 6 year old but I'm not sure who enjoyrs it more!

Super Mario Odyssey is the Best Mario themed game I have played ever.....and I have played them all ever since Mario Bros on the NES. Super Mario Odyssey gives us the very best graphics and very best gameplay of familiar games like Super Mario 64 and Sunshine but make it even better......with Cappy...Mario's Hat. I absolutely love the Idea I can play with any Switch Playstyle....Joycons Removed, Joycons Connected, ProController......and more. for more Fun a 2nd Player can Join and Play cooperatively as Cappy . Super Mario Odyssey is The Game of The Year..........If you Own a Nintendo Switch then this game is a Must Have.

This game combines the classic Mario 64 with more modern Mario Galaxy and expands upon both more than any Mario game before. It looks great and is fun all the way through.

The most iconic video game character in history makes his return to 3D. This game is a blast and feels like a true follow up to Mario 64. Lots of fun, perfect for the Switch

This game is great for a family of different ages. I am 29 and love the nostalgia of it along with the new style gameplay with cappy, but my 7 year old son can play it also.

I have a young son who is 8 years old loves this game. It is challenging for him but not to the point that he wants to quit. When he goes to bed, I secretly play it. HAHA!

I suspect most others will give this 5 out of 5, but even with 4 out of 5 this is a *must* play if you fall into any of the following categories: Mario fan, Switch fan, Nintendo fan, action-ey platformer fan, etc. Also, those not falling into any of these categories, at a minimum, will still enjoy the game (assumption based on the fact that you were curious enough about this type of game to read the reviews).

From beginning to end this game is a magnificent embodiment of what makes games fun. Music, sound design, and gameplay all come together in harmony to create a masterpiece.

I am a big super mario bros fan since the first Nintendo and this is one of my favorites. I give props to the creators of this game. They really considered players at all levels with this game and love all the creativity that was put into it, incorporating concepts from the first 2D mario games (even incorporated a small donkey kong section) to the first mario 3D game. The game could be easy for the beginners or hard for the advanced players depending on how the individuals decide to play the game. My wife played straight through the game but i decided to take my time exploring each level from one end to the other.
