Same old Mario premise. Princess peach gets kidnapped by big bad browser n it up to Mario to save the day. Added a partner not Luigi or toad but new character cappi which u can throw n bam new moves n mechanics. On your way you come to different stages collect power moon and coins and the land currency and rinse and repeat. So far it's fun to play but the repetitive is getting dull.

Is been a while since I've had this much fun with a video game. It's even more fun than Zelda in my opinion. And the easy mode sounds like a great option for younger kids to help the through the game. Great game.

It’s a fun and entertaining game. Reminds me of playing super Mario world on my Super Nintendo when I was younger!

Whole family has enjoyed this one, love the free range feel and the ability to go back and do more after beating the game. My 4 year old loves it, my husband and I love it, overall massive win on the game front.

Odyssey is another great addition to the Super Mario titles a different take on multiplayer with the switch but still just as fun! New and different worlds with crazy ways to interact it is sooo much fun!!!

I have not stopped playing this game since I got it. I pre-ordered and it came on time and with a cappy collectable coin. The game is fun with surprises at every turn. Does not disappoint. I highly recommend it.

Super Mario Odyssey is an amazing platformer and one of the best Mario games to come out in recent years. The levels are diverse and the gameplay is top notch. Highly recommended for anyone who has a Switch.

I'm an older gamer and was sceptical of this newer Mario game for the Switch. Wow, am I impressed. Lighthearted, challenging, and fun. A must play and own to keep searching and unlocking more. Love it!

Not only a near perfect Mario game, but a creative 3D platformer that always throws in creative ideas until the very end. The graphics and texture look amazing and the soundtrack is insane.

This game is so much fun, my kids got enjoyment just watching me play. Not much beats having your 6 year-old hand you the controllers minutes after you arrive from work because they want to watch.

Maybe its just the joy of seeing so many different classic Mario characters with mustaches, but this game makes my heart grow to dangerous sizes. Fun for days and days. If you don't like it, your soul is broken.

Mario is back from outer space (and 3D World) and is now visiting other kingdoms on a balloon airship with Cappy, his new cap and buddy, to stop a big wedding. This is one of the best games of 2017! Buy now!

This game is absolutely fantastic. Everything about it is a joy. The worlds are expansive and varied, the sound track is spot on, and the amount of content is excessive. There is a crazy amount of power moons to collect while playing through the game, and the number doubles once you hit post game and further content is unlocked. The hat mechanism in the game is easy to pick up but also hard to master allowing for a lot of individual player skill growth until the player is able to pull off things that you would not even think possible when you first start playing. There are hidden things all over the stages, and the variety of gameplay presented with the possession mechanism is awesome. Highly recommend this game.

I have been playing this for over a week and I am hooked! The story line is interesting and not boring like some other games. I love being able to visit and explore different kingdoms as the game progresses. My only complaint is that a couple of the Koopa races are almost impossible to beat unless you have mastered jumping off of Mario’s cap. It’s a little frustrating to get the hang of.

One of the best Mario games ever made, pretty much up to personal preference if the open world style is preferred versus the more structured levels. Lots of surprises, and the capture mechanic is a real treat.

One of the best games for the Nintendo Switch. The balance of exploration and challenges is great from beginners to veteran gamers. It's the Mario we remember from Mario 64 with elements of Sunshine and Galaxy.

Super Mario Odyssey is in the vein of Super Mario 64 & Super Mario Sunshine, meaning it's a large 3D adventure with nonlinear gameplay. While I enjoyed Mario's outings in recent years, they felt very typical, very linear, and just seemed like cash grabs. Yes, they were good, but they just lacked that special something. Odyssey, on the other hand, feels like it was built from the ground up with a lot of love. As much as I love the old Mario games, I prefer this style of game. Odyssey is, in my opinion, one of the greatest video games ever made. That said, if they make a successor to it, I hope they make the platforming challenges into full levels like in Super Mario 64. The platforming challenges in this game are a tad bit short.

One of the best Mario games of all time. Constantly surprises with fun mechanics and settings. It's easy enough to go through the main story for everyone, but getting 100% completion is a lot more challenging.
