I LOVE playing Mario Odyssey. Its fun, does Mario things well, and changes it up enough to not make you feel bored. BUT if you've played a 3D Mario game since the Wii, you're going to take to this one pretty quickly and realize it's not the "perfect" game the hype is leading to. Its a great, must have, must play game for Switch owner. That said, I think BOTW and Splatoon 2 offer more to the new Switch owner than does Odyssey.

Good graphics. Fun on the GO! It's an all new gameplay with the introduction of "Cappy". This game is a must buy whether you're playing at home or on the go. Great job, Nintendo!

This is one of those games that you expect to be the best ones... and they are. Well, may be is short in the main story but 100% the game takes a lot of time, and ability to explore.

This game is a lot of fun for the beginning gamer into the Nintendo Switch. The game starts out very easy and almost kid like until you get into the 2D games. The added feature of capturing every star in this game reminds me of Super Mario 64. Overall this game is fun and I would recommend it to beginners to the Nintendo Switch. Nostalgia Is what keeps this game from a 2 star rating at least for me.

Yes it’s another Mario title, and no it’s not 3D world so no true multiplayer; however, this title does not disappoint if you enjoy the franchise. I picked this up for the youngsters in the house and didn’t expect to get pulled into playing it. I started playing it the other night and find it difficult to put it down. The controls and game play are familiar, and the story and boards are well laid out. If you just power through the game, it might not be that enjoyable, but if you take your time and explore the many nuances of the game you might find yourself immersed in a world that only Nintendo and the creators of Mario can put together.

Very fun game. The graphics are awesome, it’s neat seeing Mario in a new way on the switch. It’s very fun and addicting.

Really good game son loves it not hard to pass really fun

Christmas gift for my nephew. He started playing it right away! Graphics looked great! He had been waiting for this game for a few months. So thrilled to actually be playing it!!!!

Ok, we bought this knowing we were going to play it,... but we didn't realize how much. My wife and I seriously lost around 48 hours of our lives playing this game.... we love it!

The price was a bit expensive but it all worked out for this game . fun super fun game

Everything I loved about Super Mario 64 is present and expanded upon in Odyssey. So many fun things to do and discover at your own pace. Highly recommend for children of all ages!!

This switch odyssey game is great gives my grandson lots of more fun with his switch.

I find myself going back to Mario odyssey all the time there’s so much to do I am only halfway through finding all of the power moons

My son was excited to get this game but quickly beat the boss in a couple of days. There are many many levels to keep someone entertained but I think it’s more for children under 15

Possibly the best Mario I've played. Whole new open world experience with such great maps. Must buy platformer and solid value.

It's Mario, what else can I say. When I initially saw the first previews of this game, I wasn't that excited. It looked like Mario 64 with bigger maps. In a way it kind of is like Mario 64 with bigger maps, but the new features really add to the experience. While the game lacks a story, I think that is part of the beauty of it. This makes it really easy to play in short bursts to just pick up a few moons here and there. For anyone that likes collecting items and outfits, this game has a ton of them, and also some nice surprises. I only saw early videos of the game so I went into the game blind and can say I thoroughly enjoying the experience.
