I think the best part of Mario Odyssey is how Nintendo has continued to work on making games that can be enjoyed by any skill level. From offering the option to use a free power after failing a few times, to an assist mode for players that need a boost, Mario is truly a game for all family members of any skill level. If you've played a lot of these sorts of games, the game does not offer much challenge until after you "beat" the game. Still, the thrill of discovery keeps you entertained, even if it feels a bit easy. For expert players, the game really takes off after the credits roll.

My kids love playing this game. They enjoyed the gameplay.

The last mario game I purchased and played through was Super Mario 64 on the N64, it was great. Odyssey shares a lot of the same qualities of Mario 64, but has a lot more depth and hidden gems to discover. The motion controls (which are required for play, you can't not use them for certain things) take a lot of getting used to. I'd prefer to not be forced to use the motion controls.

This was a gift for my boyfriends cousin. He loved it! He already had been YouTubing the game and knew what had to be done. Game looked really fun as well!

The game is great fun to play with my grandson was so happy he says it’s one of the best games he has and for know it’s his favorite

The game is a joy to play, and offers a lot of content. Even after the credits roll, there's plenty to go back to do. It's a must play for fans of platformers.

Fun Mario game, i love all most of the mario games as they have evolved over the years. A solid entry for the Switch

These types of Mario games have always held a special place in my heart. Odyssey continues my love for the platform and find it truly a great game

Open world Mario game that keeps you wanting to play more. I love it. At this point I just wish there were more hours in the day so I could play it more often.

Nintendo once again hits it out of the part with this game, highly highly recommended for any switch owner, you'd be hard pressed not to have fun with this one

Gameplay was excellent and so were the graphics. It also has this retro feel to it.

I have been a Mario fan since the franchise started and this game does not disappoint. My son and I really enjoy playing it together (2 player) and separately.

Best Switch game so far! Huge amount of content! Impressive graphics! You can play as so many different characters! Challenging puzzles! All around phenomenal!

Great game with definitive Mario flavored fun. Blends old school (going all the way back to 8-bit) with modern and odd/esoteric elements. Extremely enjoyable.

This might be the best MARIO game yet. It is fun and there is a lot to do. It is great to play as an adult with your younger kids as a starter game.

Got this game for my kids and they love it they love how they can still play multiplayer (one being cappy the other mario) and they're entertained for awhile

THE best Mario game to date. Reminds me of super mario galaxy 2 which was the best Mario game of all time but no more! If you have a switch, get this game!
