When I started playing this game it brought back nostalgia of Mario 64. This is an excellent Mario game with great graphics and some interesting new mechanics with Cappy (which can be used to hti switches, collect coins, take control over other characters, etc).

This is probably my favorite Mario game to date! I was hesitant trying a new game and spending the money, but my friend and I started it and couldn't stop it! What is so cool about it is the open world concept. You can run around and explore so much!! It's great. Only negative thing I will say is that you can't really play multiplayer with this game with two characters like other games. Technically the game lets one player play Mario and the other the hat, but my friend and I couldn't get that to work out very well. We just ended up taking turns which worked out fine. We would play hours at a time until we got to the end. Even when you beat Bowser there's still more fun! Totally worth the money.

A very good game with excellent graphics. My family love this game.

One of the best Mario games to date. Good depth of gameplay and visually interesting environments. Motion controls may take getting used to, but not a real hindrance. Like Breath of the Wild there are tons of ways to explore and Moons (like Korok seeds) to collect.

I'm 51 years old and bought this for my kids. Good luck to them for getting a chance to play it. This is by far the best looking and most fun mario game that I have ever had the pleasure to play. If Zelda didn't make you purchase a switch, Mario definitely should!

This game is one of the best Mario games I have every played! Every world is beautifully crafted and it is fun to explore each world to find every secret. Nintendo has once again outdid themselves. Even after you "beat" the game, there is still so much more to do!

Even though the game is easier than it's previous 3D games, only negative part about it,the game still looks incredible and entertains for hours. I'd recommend collecting the moons needed to get to each level then coming back for more after you complete the game.

A great game!!! Nintendo keeps on coming out with solid Games and Super Mario Odyssey is no exception. Everything about it is great; the concept, the graphics, everything! This is a fun-filled, family friendly game. I'm enjoying it immensely and highly recommend.

For those who grew up loving Super Mario 64 on Nintendo 64 and Super Mario Sunshine on GameCube, you will love this game. It easily brings you back to those games with huge open worlds, tons of collectibles and many, many hours of fun. This is a must have game!

It's new-age open world Mario in the vein of Mario 64 and Sunshine. Do you really need a review? I'm glad Breath of the Wild won GoTY but this game is an INCREDIBLY close second. I haven't had this much fun simply controlling a character in a very long time.

It's a good game for the kids and it's easy to play and you could have fun

This game is so entertaining. My kids and I cannot wait for a sequel, but are still having fun going back through each world and playing for more moons. This brings back the memories of old Mario games while bringing very fresh game play.

This has all the features of a great Mario game. It has the exploration and collection features of a great Zelda game with the nostalgia of original Mario (NES) and Mario 64, but this is a new and great Mario experience. I've put in about 30 hours so far.

What's there to say? This is the new Mario game for the Nintendo Switch, and it is a lot of fun. It is quite different from games past, but with games like Zelda BOTW, it looks like open world games are going to continue. Definitely a lot of fun.

Wow, this game is the best Mario game ive ever played, and i played them all. SO much to do in this game, replay value is excellent. Trust me it will take you a long time to fully complete the game. Mario has never looked or felt this great. A must buy.

Its an absolute must-have for the Switch! Great controls, amazing music, wonderful graphics and of course fantastic whimsical worlds. The mid and end-game world sets are particularly fantastic and there is a lot to do after the main game is done as well.

Awesome game. Really gives that nostalgia feeling, kind of like it feels to go to Disneyland as an adult. Yes, it could have more difficulty, but still an enjoyable experience.

This is a wonderful return to open world Mario games. It's absolutely gorgeous and while the storyline itself is short, there's a ton of stuff to do. There are also clever references from Mario games past that really add a feel of nostalgia to the game.

Such a fun, addictive video game. Severe worlds to explore and a joy to play. Each world is packed with variety and collectible items that keep you searching for more. Graphics are beautiful even if not 4K. Gameplay is great. Music is fantastic as well
