In my opinion, the best Mario game for Nintendo Switch. The game is really fun, my kids loved it and we played as a family. I really liked it, I recommend it.

Very funny and challenging game. The graphics are very nice and I like that it’s open world. 2 player is also nice for family/friends to play as well.

I've never really been a huge Mario fan (don't dislike the games, just never felt the need to play them) and have never really played any of the 3D titles but I really enjoyed this game. It's a good combination of easy but fun platforming for the main progression and a ton of side and post-game exploration and challenging stuff to collect for folks that are into that. My only real gripe that tempted me to give it 4 stars is that chucks of what you can collect is double locked so you can't just clear each area as you have to go and need to go back once you've beaten the game to fully complete an area. That's probably a good thing for most people though and is more of a personal hangup so I don't think it's worth docking the game a star.

So much fun for kids and adults alike. Brings me back to my youth and it's fun to watch my son discover Mario with a new age twist. Highly recommend!

Earlier this year, we were blessed with Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch. It was an unbelievable take on one of favorite franchises and easily a game of the year nominee (I still play it regularly today). Never in my wildest dreams did I think that in the Switch's first year, I would be saying the same thing about Mario, another one of my favorite series. This game is a masterpiece. It is so much fun, so well done, and provides some serious competition to Zelda in the GOTY race. Highly recommended to everyone. Also, it is a game that is absolutely amazing to play both on your TV and in handheld mode. Some games I find more fun in one of those modes vs. the other, but Odyssey has been just as enjoyable either way you play it.

Completely worth the hype. A game that any Switch owner, or any gamer foe that matter, shouldn’t miss. New gameplay mechanics are a lot of fun and there is plenty to explore if you want to go off the linear path.

Where do I even begin with this game? This game is the perfection of what Nintendo has been doing great since Super Mario 64. My favorite game of all time was Super Mario 64 and I never thought it would ever be beaten, but then came Super Mario Odyssey. OH MY GOODNESS! Super Mario Odyssey was able to not dethrone, but come in a very close tie for me with Super Mario 64. Super Mario Odyssey is able to feel nostalgic with vibes of Super Mario 64, while still doing its own thing. This game is absolute perfection. If you are a fan of Nintendo, Mario, fun adventures, or just video games in general, then you absolutely must get this game! In my opinion, this game alone makes the Switch worth owning!

Super Mario Odyssey is a really fun game that you can just pick up and play from wherever and that's literally not just gameplay but overall very fun and brings back nostalgia from the greatest Mario adventures

This game is amazing, my whole family is fighting over time on the switch. Nintendo had another hit. It reminds me so much of super Mario 64 and it delivers a long, challenging game that delivers and fun story.

When you think that the standalone Mario games can't get any cooler and that they won't be able to come up with cool new abilities or features, Nintendo comes out with this gem! Super Mario Odyssey has some of the coolest graphics and details as well as original ideas that ever seen in any Mario game. Each world too, has a lot of replay value as there are tons of things to look for and do. What's also amazing is that all this is in a cartridge about the size of an SD card. I definitely recommend having Supper Mario Odyssey as one of your Nintendo Switch games!

This is beyond of my expectation of a Mario game. Although it is not a wide map as Zelda (BOTW), but there's so much hidden things to explore and it is FUN! What are you waiting for? This game is worth it!

I am a big Mario fan so this game is 100% must buy if you love to play Mario games. Highly recommend, especially if you want to play with a friend.

This game brings back memories, I used to play back in the day with Super Nintendo or Nintendo 64. It’s awesome to have a great quality game to play and keep myself entertained. Level get fun as it goes further, love this game.

This game is amazing. Definitely worthy of Mario's first outing on the Switch. The levels are very well done, graphics are awesome and it is tons of fun. I would definitely recommend this if you own a Switch.

This is a super fun game. My son (8yrs) loves. I played it and found I like it a lot too. This is a true Mario game in an open world. Worth the purchase.
