One of the best 3D Mario titles ever. Full of whimsy and charm, it's a great game for any fans or newcomers alike.

By far the Best 3D Mario title i’ve Ever played. It’s simple to learn the controls— move, throw hat, jump and ground stomp— but as you take control over enemies, you learn new powers to unlock hidden areas, find new ways to collect moons and defeat bosses. The boss fights are very simple, relying on hitting boss 3 times (every boss is this way), but some of the fights later on get more challenging. The real challenge of the game is the exploration. Finding the 800 moons in the game is a fun challenge and make sure for the most excitingly collect-a-thon on the Switch. If you own a Switch, there are two games that everyone must buy— Zelda and this game.

It has been a wonderful product where my daughters play non-stop, and I have even played it myself—it's very entertaining, especially with the different scenarios in which Super Mario Odyssey unfolds. It's 100% recommendable, as it even takes me back to my childhood.

This game is a lot of fun. I play through it with my wife controlling Cappy. The levels are open for exploration, so it's a nice callback to earlier 3D Mario games. Music is fantastic.

For what I am looking for in a game, this had everything I could have hoped for. Super Mario Odyssey stays true to the feeling of the Mario games we love, through dozens of small homages to past games, while still throwing new goals and mechanics around every corner. The main story doesn't take the as many hours to complete as many other AAA games, but each kingdom holds enough secrets to find and places to explore that, on multiple occasions, my wife and I have sat down and played for hours without needing to move the story forward at all. If you are a fan of Mario and are looking for a jolly, heartwarming game, you should definitely pick this one up.

I really loved this game. The graphics were very awesome and clear. This game should be purchased by anyone that would like to have some fun gaming anytime of the day or night.

This game is fun to play with my son. I️ loved the NES Mario games. I️ feel like this takes the fun things about the original games and updates the graphics and sound. Really fun game!

One could say a million words about this game because of how amazing and fun it is but I'm just going to quickly say that as a life long Mario fan - This is the best entry to the Super Mario series since Super Mario 64. (And Mario Sunshine on Gamecube is a strong entry but this was that much fun).

So much replay value. Many moons to get. Once you think you are finished with a level, you are not because there are many more moons to find. Can get frustrating but it’s worth it.

Son is very happy with his present again the packaging wasn’t that good but the game isn’t broken. I just think putting a brand new game into a shipping bag and sending it out that way could cause a lot of bad accidents and upset customers if they received a broken game

Glad to see Mario back in 3D. Games plays great and has so much to do and collect. Love the gameplay and it will keep you busy for a little while trying to see and collect everything.

The hype of this game was really high for this game and this game didn't disappoint. The exploration is fantastic, the gameplay is the most fluid 3D Mario game. It's a terrific game!

This Mario game is so much fun! The open world concept of it is awesome. Graphics are top notch and having co-op play makes it even better. Would highly recommend to any Mario fan.

There's a reason this game received a 10/10 rating! Hours of fun, great gameplay for all ages and I love how they incorporated some old original Nintendo graphics/ gameplay into it!

Wow the graphics and game interplay are breathtaking my 8 year old loves it, my 13 year old loves it, and my 16 year old loves it too. A true rare game where all of my kids love it.

If you want a great 3D Platformer for your Nintendo Switch, look no further. Game looks beautiful and plays wonderfully with the 2 joy cons separated (the recommended way to play).

Anytime a video game gets a 10/10 review by big names like IGN, I'm always a little skeptical (and intrigued). I was already interested in getting this new game, but I was more excited to know that it was reviewed so highly. I can honestly say it lives up to hype. There's plenty of differences between each world which kept me and the kids interested. And there's a lot left to do even after the game is technically beaten. Graphics are nice. Controls are solid most of the time. Soundtrack is fun. And kids like the two-player mode. It's also a pretty decent challenge at times, particularly after end-game. Good times. Don't pass this one up.

I’m an adult, not a huge fan of 3D Mario games as opposed to my peers. I picked this game up because my wife saw a commercial for it and she wanted to watch me play the game. ( she does that sometimes with franchises she’s nostalgic for). Well I am happy to say I was very pleasantly surprised by Super Mario Odyssey, the game is beautiful, and entertaining with a great soundtrack but most important of all it is a great deal of fun to play. There are many kingdoms to explore and collectibles to look for while enjoying the best of 2D and 3D platforming. I’m happy to see some games can still catch me by surprise and provide a good deal of fun.

This is a whole new concept for Mario... an open world game. You can explore worlds and do challenges and whatnot as you desire. It’s a really fun game and the graphics are great!
