Ok, this game is AMAZING! So much nostalgia, along with new and fresh ideas, are jam packed in this game. I don't want this game to end! So much to explore!

Kids love playing with Mario and Cappy! It also allows 2 players, 1 controls Mario, other controls Cappy! Certainly keeps the kids entertained.

Probably the best title I've yet to get for my original switch. I may be bias as I do love Mario games ;)

I bought this game for me and my gf and we love it playing two players or one it has that classic Mario feel along with the new age spin. Great Family game

So I haven’t really dabbled in a bunch of Super Mario games in a while. The last Mario game I had was MarioKart 8 Original. But this game was on my radar since it was announced. And I’m happy to report it’s awesome! It really harkens back to the classic Mario 64 and Mario Sunshine. While treading new ground like the new “Capture” move. That Mario can do with his pal Cappy in this adventure. And it’s one of the best looking Switch games so far. Like I was amazed to see how much detail there is. So if you are thinking of getting the Nintendo Switch. Definitely buy this game.

The game is fun and Best Buy made it an extremely easy decision with their sale.

It was on sale for 1/3 off and it was pretty fun and short.

Bought this game so my son would have some fun games for his Nintendo Switch. My wife enjoys playing this game with my son.

Absolutely fantastic, if you're on the fence about it, try it in store or borrow it from a friend. The game has so much to see and do, it's a total blast.

Mario is a such a classic, I usually pick up the new games when I can. This game has those nostalgic feels of Mario 64. So much fun to be had

Such a fun game for me and my 5 year old son to play together. Just challenging enough but not too difficult. Beautiful graphics and just plain fun!

You can play this as one player or two player. If two player, one player plays as Mario and the second player plays as Cappy (his hat). This is one of the first games I've played that where it makes good use of the Joy Cons, where I prefer the Joy Cons over the Pro Controller. I think it's really creative how they implemented movements of the Joy Cons with buttons to create actions in the games. For me, this game was a lot like Super Mario Galaxy on the Nintendo Wii, which I loved. This game offers fun, entertaining 3D gameplay.

I must admit, I am not a huge fan of The Nintendo Switch. I think it has a place in the console spectrum but just doesn’t really cause me to stop what I’m doing and play it. However, with the release of Super Mario Odyssey, I have picked up my Switch and have been playing the game a lot. In true Mario form, Nintendo has hit a home run with all the fun you can have exploring the worlds and the different characters you can morph into using your “cappy” friend. I am really enjoying this and would highly recommend this game to any Switch fan and or any Nintendo/Mario fan!

Had it a few days now and no one in my family can’t put it down. Nintendo did a great job designing this mario title. Plenty of stuff to keep you busy.

My 9 year old loves the game. I've enjoyed the call backs to the original Super Mario games. Some cool new worlds to explore and fun to be had.

Was praying this would be on the level of Mario Sunshine, Galaxy, or 3D World, and boy is it. Nintendo once again redefined Mario and made it feel fresh. The graphics are honestly amazing, even when using in portable mode, colors pop like no other, controls extremely smoothly. Only gripe is the motion control aspects. Not sure if there is a way to turn those off and use the analogs or not (havent played with settings). You can shake the joycons certain ways and control the hat. Its a cool concept but when playing in portable mode with joycons attached, its awkward.

This is the best 3D platformer I have played in years. The main game is not very long but there is still a ton of stuff to do after finishing the story.
