As a more than casual but not quite hardcore gamer, I love the simple yet deep gameplay of Super Mario Odyssey and all the delight that comes with this kind of game, of course. Collecting all the moons and purple coins hasn’t felt like a chore even 8 hours into the game! I’m hoping for DLC to expand this world and game so I can enjoy more of this truly fun Switch title!

This game should be a part of every game library! It's easy enough to play but challenging enough to hold your interest for extended periods of time. The game has the classic elements of all Mario games but it also contains enough unique content to be a new and current game.

I like Mario games but I wouldn't consider myself a die hard fan. This game though has probably been one of the first games this year i truly like. Its simple enough that my 5 year can play and not get frustrated but it also offers a challenge to those who want to collect moons. Very satisfied with my purchase Kudos Nintendo this and Zelda has justified my switch purchase.

Breath of the Wild is a must buy, no doubt, but this is arguably the second must buy for the Switch. Even if you're not a diehard Mario fan, I'm not (my wife is though), this game really is pretty addictive to play. Some open-worldness exploration to it, experimentation with figuring out puzzles, great visuals, the list goes on. Don't pass up this awesome game experience!

Visually appealing, fun and great concept for Mario. Son thoroughly enjoyed and called it one of the best but four start due only to how quickly he proceeded to roll through the game completing various quests and finding the hidden moons.

I've played most of the Mario games, and this is one of the best. The story is the typical, pun-filled, silly and absurd stuff. It's kiddie. But, the character animation is thoughtful, the gameplay is fun and challenging, the world is colorful even if the characters are flatly developed. In short, its one of the best 3D platformers I've played in a long time.

Just another great Mario game. If you don’t want to purchase at full price, good luck. If it’s ever under $40 just go for it.

After playing Mario Odyssey with my nephew I knew I had to get my own copy. It's the best Mario title since Mario 64 and captures the same sense of fun, adventure and wonder as that game did. The game has a broad range of challenges to keep the completionist engaged, and also has an assist mode to make things less stressful. If you own a Switch this game is a must have!

There were a lot of additions to this game that have never been included in previous Mario games, for good and for bad. Great controls, clever platforming, and loads of fun. Some of the worlds (New Donk City) and elements of the worlds (T-Rex and scooters) didn’t seem to match with traditional Mario games. Still, I had tons of fun and was sad when I finished it.

My kid loves this game, and he loves playing it together with me. Great storyline, good graphics, neat puzzles.

I really enjoy playing this game with my son. It reminds me of my youth.

Such a good game, with nice subtle and enjoyable callbacks to previous titles in the series. Mario Odyssey is a fun game that rewards explorers, and there's a lot to explore in this semi-open terrain sandbox game. I've spent hours playing and haven't even finished the game, as exploring and finding the Moons that you collect hidden around the Kingdoms is so much fun.

Game solves the persistent complaint about Mario games getting easier. Any one can finish the basic game and see the end credit, but getting all the 999 moons require real old school skill. It is a great design. Game looks and plays very polished. Nintendo also has been great in giving free content like balloon chase after launch. Must have for all switch owners.

This game has so much charm. There are so many things in this game that put a literal smile on my face. There is tons to do and it never feels stale. The game is very easy until you get past the story and then becomes more challenging as you try to find all the moons. This game pays homage to it's roots and reminds you why you have always loved Mario. Highly recommend.

I grew up with Super Mario World and Mario 64. Those are two of my favorite games especially favorite mario games. I think with Odyssey they took the best of all the Mario games and made this gem. Cappy adds a whole new sliver to the game and gives you the ability to play with a friend. I highly recommend this game, it is one of the best Mario games I have ever played!
