This is game flawless. Gameplay and movement is fluid and flawless. It's what you expect from an open world Mario game and more. What's better is there is so much more to do after the credits roll. There are over 900 moons to collect! It's the perfect game for the switch

So there's no beating around the bush with this game - it's the best Mario we've had since Mario 64 and really ever. If you have a Switch, you owe it to yourself to get this game. And if you don't have a Switch, this is the reason to get one. I would, however, rather give this game a 4.5 instead of a 5. This is due only to the fact that the control scheme of using a detached joycon in each hand is basically forced on you due to motion controls. While you can try to play in other configurations, some actions simply cannot be performed without this controller configuration. And this is really only a negative due to the Switch's being portable being a big selling point in it. Playing in handheld mode with the joycons attached to the sides just doesn't give you the functionality you need to really play the game. Other than that, though, this game is an absolute gem and a return to form that we haven't had since Mario Sunshine.

This game is very entertaining and fun to play. The graphics, music, and gameplay are stunning. I like how they implement the classic Mario bros design in some levels. Respect to Nintendo, this game is a masterpiece.

this game feels like an actual sequel to super Mario 64 it is awesome :) the gameplay is really good, and cappy is awesome, although I wish there was still a punch/kick maneuver like in 64 but hey the future is about moving on right, if u have a switch u must get this game

Addicted from the start of the game. I feel happy like when I first played Mario 64. Amazing graphics and changing into different animals is so fun ! Went to midnight release in California(9pm) and it was professionally pleasing how Best Buy employees handled business.

My 7yr old son throughly enjoys this game! As do I & my 24yr old son when play it with my 7yr old.

If you love Mario, you won't be disappointed. There will be frustrating moments in parts of the game, but never to the point that you will call it quits. Mario has another partner in crime that will keep you rooting for the duo from beginning to end. Enjoy your purchase!!

This game is the perfect blend of new and old. Old elements and references for those who have been with Mario since "Donkey Kong." Great new levels and features for the newer players who like surprises. There is something for everyone who loves the series.

Amazing game fun for all ages and many hours of happiness

This game is a little different than most mario games it seems a more open world game than most. It can be a little difficult at times but lots of fun

Just finishing the main story or earning enough moons to reach the secret content isn't that hard --- but some of the post-game content can take many tries. The game is beautiful, both its 3D and 2D sections --- and the photo mode with all its filters is a nice touch.

This is a great game, hands down. If you loved the old Mario 64 then this is possibly for you. It is does almost all the best parts of what made M64 great. The biggest noticeable differences being 2. The length of the game, it was a tad short but every second getting there was fun, and it has some end game which I wasn’t expecting so you can squeeze more out of it! The second being that if I remember correctly M64 being a bit more fluid. I never felt like I was “changing levels” as much at least as I did in SMO. Where in SMO you definitely felt the jaring effect of changing worlds. In that sense it felt like a modern mixing of M64 with the original SMB and using a pipe to change levels, your pipe instead being replaced by a flying hat ship....ok? Ha! Anyway, smallest of gripes! Don’t let that sway you! This is a great game, don’t expect a sale for this one, so get it as soon as ya can! Don’t miss out on near perfection!

I enjoy playing this game with my 8 year old daughter. I think it's the first time Mario can have a second simultaneous player. Hope this is the start of things to come in the Mario kingdom. We absolutely love it at home or on the go thanks to the switch gaming platform.

I was hesitant at first, but turned out to be an addictive game. Game play lasts hours. Great addition to the series. The graphics are the usual Nintendo ones, but definitely worth the purchase.

If you have a Switch you might as well get this game. It's an amazing game. It scales well for all player types. Simple enough to run through the game, but the real challenge is going back to find all the hidden moons.

If you're a fan of Mario you'll love this game. If you were a fan of Mario 64 you'll REALLY love this game! Gameplay and controls are excellent and, in true Mario fashion, there are secrets to find everywhere! Hard to put down once you start paying.. highly recommended!

This game has everything the classic MARIO games had and the new. Cappy is a great addition to the game. There are lots of Easter eggs (Moons) and everything feels very well thought out. It’s a fun game. If you enjoyed any previous MARIO titles you will like this one.

I bought this game for my children and I to play last Christmas and we beat it over Christmas break. We still play this game all the time, it is so much fun. So much content, and so much to do. Well worth the money and the best mario game in a long time.

Mario's adventure is very fun, with tight controls and platforming to help you explore all the world you come to. My only gripes come from how many of the collectibles after you finish the game seem put there just for filling out the rest of the game.

Absolutely awesome game for someone who loves the franchise, and it's great for anyone that has an itch for games with a ton to do.
