Bought this game for my Son as a Christmas gift, so in had to wait in order to review it. Nintendo nailed it with this one, awesome game!! The graphics, gameplay, sound effects, everything about SMO is top notch. A must buy for any Switch owner!!

I already had high hopes for Super Mario Odyssey, but it nevertheless exceeded them. Easy enough to get into for younger players, it nevertheless offers a ton of exploration and extra challenge for the more serious of gamers, making it a must-have.

At this point my review shouldn't matter, as every legitimate video game journalist has already given Mario Odyssey it's highest accolades. Very fun game, easy to lose the hours playing, just as easy to play on the go for a few minutes at a time.

First of all i need to say that i'm big fan of Nintendo and Mario games. I feel after end the main game, that new Mario game is the GOTY of 2017. Best Mario game since Mario 64 with amazing gameplay and rich design level. I'm very happy with this!!

Picked this up on the day of release after impatiently waiting for it for months and all I can say is “amazing.” This game is truly amazing. Without a doubt, this, in my opinion, is the best game for the switch, and people of all ages can enjoy it.

This game was great for me and my roommate to play on our free time. We had both played Super Mario Galaxy before so I decided to buy this game and was not let down. He has beaten it on his account but I'm still working on it. Awesome game overall.

This game is one of the best that I have ever played. I literally played for 12 hours straight when I first got it. It is so much fun and there is so much to do. Great game-play, great music, great look, and so many little details and Easter eggs.

Simply excellent, my son and I finished the game in a few days but it was a lot of fun and full of small cute touches like playing old style for a fraction of the level. Enjoyed playing

I have been waiting for this game for a long time and it was definitely worth the wait! This game is so addictive and fun. The controls are great, it looks beautiful, plus I got a free Mario coin for preordering at Best Buy. I am a happy customer!

My [6yo] son loves this game! He’s quite advanced for his age, and was able to beat it in a matter of days. It still gets played quite often though! Highly recommend.

Super Mario Odyssey is not only one of the best games of the year, but also one of the best games of all time. Nintendo shows that the Italian plumber still has it 30 years later. A joy from beginning to end. And my favorite game of the year.

My whole family is enjoying playing the game. We've got four different games going so everyone gets a chance at playing Mario and Cappy. It's definitely a different experience from each perspective. I would not recommend anyone to play this alone!

This game makes it 2 for 2 for great Switch titles from Nintendo. Like Breath of the Wild before it, Mario Odyssey is incredibly beautiful and incredibly fun. Be prepared to lose a few hours as you go from one whimsical, colorful world to another.

Mario Odyssey is vintage Mario at his best. Hard to surpass Super Mario Galaxy but it has. Glad to have it in my collection.

This is a gift for my nephew. He doesn’t know mario well, and this is the best introduction game for him. Lots to explore, discover and collectibles to find. Easy to pick up, hard to master.

It's a great game for all ages and is a must have for the Switch. I was worried about using the hat as the main game mechanic but it's use is great and integrated into the plot well. Hours of play after finishing the story is great as well.

This is a fun game with very cool graphics. I like that it playfully alludes to some of the earlier versions of the SMB games while improving on them graphically and from a UE perspective.

Super Mario Odyssey has been a blast. I've beat it and replayed it twice already. It is seriously a must have for any Mario fan. I would definitely rank it among the greatest Mario games ever made. I can't recommend this game enough!

This is the game that most people have been waiting for since the launch of the system. And it's well worth the wait. Feels like an updated Super Mario 64 with extra moves, many more things to collect, and the best graphics for this type of game.
