Super Mario Odyssey is so much fun. Bursting with creativity, and endless secrets to find and cool things to try. The hat capture idea leads to excellent puzzles, and the various modes and difficulty settings make this a great game for players young and old.

What I have done to receive the privilege to experience this game is beyond me. This game is an absolute masterpiece and is a must have for switch owners. Main game is shorter than most games, but the journey is far from over. The amount of content the game holds is insane for a $60 game, it actually feels like a steal. Almost All of the worlds are filled to the brim with creativity, and innovates from the standard Mario level types seen in some of his less impressive games. Controlling Mario has never been more precise, and movement is extremely fluid and the high amount of moves Mario has at his disposal turns the game into an even more free sandbox to explore. Honestly, do yourselves a favor and get this game, the only drawback to this is the amount of time out of your day the game's gonna take. But those hours will be some of the most enjoyable you'll experience in a while.

Mario games tend to maintain a high level of fun and polish. This game is no different. I've been playing since the side scrolling days of Mario on the SNES, and the series has yet to disappoint. Don't miss out and skip this entry into the series.

This is a very good Mario adventure for your Switch. I'm not quite as in love with Mario's 3D outings as many are, thus the 4 stars, but that's just my personal opinion. The game is fun and well made, so if you're a fan of 3D Mario or 3D platformers in general, you won't go wrong here!

Great game to have for switch 2 + updated graphics and performance

3D Mario games have always been exceptionally great and this game is no different. This feels more like Mario 64 and Galaxy than it does say, 3D World. Regardless, this game and all others deserved to be played. An essential game for EVERY Switch owner.

Best mario game since mario64 truly worth playing.

This game is a really fun "open world" 3D Mario experience and is great to play with the family.The controls are simple, the worlds are fun and colorful, and the game has plenty of exploration and things for you to do. Definitely a must have on the Switch.

This game will give you hours of fun. Great graphics, great storyline, and even if it is light years beyond the SNES days, the 2d moments of the game provides a feeling of nostalgia that is very welcoming. Every GAMER needs this in their switch library.

This game is great. You can’t help but smile while playing it. So much attention to detail has been put into this game. The controls are tight, although I wasn’t to fond of the motion controls. Amazing game over all. If you own a switch this is a must buy.

So many things to love: The new cappy abilities are genius. Not difficult to play, but isn't boring. Replay ability in trying to find all the hidden moons. The 2D throwbacks are a real treat. Fun to play single and with a friend. Awesome soundtrack as well

The game is great, but not as good as most reviews would make you think. Main story is pretty easy, not very long, but there's a lot to do after finishing the story. The game is fun enough to make you want to keep playing and find more power moons (stars).

It's Mario, so I dont think you can expect anything but a great game. From start to finish, I was blown away. The worlds each have their own life, and the open world aspect is an amazing touch. This is probably the best game since 64.

Fun game to play. Kinda trippy to Mario change up , but it keeps it fresh and fun. Got it on sale which is rare for switch games .

Excellent Mario game on the Switch here. We always enjoy Mario games in this house and this one does not disappoint. The morphing into other characters to complete levels is an excellent gameplay design. Go, buy a copy and enjoy this masterpiece of Mario.

This game is so much fun. I'm glad I bought it. Brought me back to the older Mario games. It's so good.

Game is a little short you can prolly beat it in 10-15 hrs. But that’s far from being a con. That game play is just like any Mario N64. I was in it for the nostalgia and the memes, but the game was fun! Worth every penny and it’s for all ages! Love it!

This has been one of my favorite titles for Switch! The open world really pulls you in, but there's enough direction to keep you on the storyline and making progress through the game. I haven't tried the co-op mode but it looks like a nifty idea.
