Ok... so i ordered it when it was first released. But kind of disappointed. Game was not challenging enough to my standard, boss fight was easy.

Ok game. Very frustrating at points due to controls. Maybe I’ll get back into it. I had to walk away

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. He has not played it yet since it's not quite Christmas, but the game was easy to find and doing a price match was quick and easy.

Mostly played by my 5 yo but i enjoy playing it as well. Coop play is an option but id recommend luigis mansion if looking for coop.

Game is fun to play, but a lot of the moves are for use with the controllers disconnected from the switch. Makes the game much less portable.

Grandson loves this game comes home from school and plays before doing homework

I’ve loved mario since I was young. Now that I’m older it hasn’t changed, except I’m distracted with wanting to grab every coin, every moon, before beating the level. Still fun though!

I like this game but it is a lot different than most Mario games. It is more fun with someone else controlling the hat and sometimes I think the hat is the more important character.

If you weren't really a fan of Mario's gameplay before, it won't do much to change your mind, imo. It's got a lot of fun to be had, but at the end of the day, it's still just Mario.

My daughter liked it. The only downside is it’s really for one player. The 2nd person can only be the hat on Mario’s head which is not fun.

This is a fun game for all ages. I (mid 30's) love this game and my kids (3-7) have a lot of fun playing it as well. If you own a switch you need to own this game as well.

My son loved to go to Best Buy to play the game on display. Hope he likes it for Christmas. Seems way overpriced for what it is.

My son loves Mario so we got this when we got his switch. He loves the game but he beat it in 2 days. (He is 8)

This game is very fun, even for adults. The only problem I had was learning the controls but my kids caught on quick and it teaches them how to work as a team! #WINNING!!

Its tough to beat Mario. Its especially tough to beat a Mario game that is completely rethought. The play is fun and easy for all ages! Keep up the good work, Nintendo.

It's a fun mario game. Best parts are when it goes from the game itself back into the old school mario mode. Very similar to mario 64 just not as long.

Easy online purchase. Unfortunately, my nephew received both so had to return it, which was also a very easy process within the store.

I grew up on Super Mario 64, which was my favorite game for a long time. Then I played this game. The game brings back the "sandbox," more exploration focused gameplay that I loved about 64. If you liked the more linear style of Galaxy or 3D World, this probably won't be your favorite Mario game ever. It is fairly easy, especially to beat the "main" campaign. I still highly recommend this game if you like Mario at all, though. All in all, if you're specifically looking for a platforming challenge, this game probably isn't for you. But this is, in my opinion, one of the best games of the last decade.
