Fun game, wish more to multiplayer

I do like that they made it couch-coop, but that option is very limited. Player 1 controls Mario, while player 2 controls his hat.. There is some fun missions where you get to work side-by-side, but for the most part the Mario has the lead in this game.

2 Player mode doesn't have equal gaming abilities

Player 2 (hat) requires the use of player 1. Meaning player 1 has to do almost everything and guide the screen when player 2 is just an assistant. I wish that is was a fair level of playing ground because when I am playing with my boyfriend (which was the goal of this purchase) we could do the same things. The game says hat can take control of people which I thought player 2 would gain control. No, player 1 gains control but player 2 can make you switch between different people to control. If you are looking for 1 player than I would suggest it. If you are looking at it for 2 player than I would not suggest it.
